I'm sorry but could I ask you to give me a little step by step guide to do this? I've never done anything like this and it sounds quite complicated. I'd be extremely grateful
First off, do you have A9LH?
. If not, load Decrypt9 through the HBL and go to Gamecart Dumper Options
. Then press Dump Cart (full)
. Wait for it to dump
. Install the DSi HB Menu CIA file.
. Open the DSi HB Menu
. Run the dumped ROM
You could also use WoodDumper instead of Decrypt9
Also, if you have A9LH you can just boot Decrypt9 as a payload and not have to use the HBL

Summary of my posts: (sorry to repost these)
System: old 3ds 11.0.0-33J a9lh installed.
CFW: Luma 6.1.1 with experimental TwlBg patches enabled.
Slot-1: Acekard 2 (no i) with AKAIO 1.9.0.
No icon on system menu.
TWL Slot-1 Launcher v3: OK.
NTR Slot-1 Launcher 0.9b Release/Alt: Show "Loading..." on top screen but after that, both screens turn white.
Slot-1: Retail NTR Cart (oideyo doubutsu no mori).
Of cource even stock system can boot it.

Since TWL Launcher works for me, I'm not eagerly in need of anything.
Want to know if it's my problem or the card isn't supported yet.

Yeah, that isn't an original R4. Pretty sure it has to be one made by the original team. They're pretty hard to come across now though since they stopped making them in 2007, if I were you I'd just wait until there's DSTT support.I have an r4 wifi
but it seems that DSTT launcher is the only one that works for me.

The same thing with NTR launcher happened when I use my weird R4 clone but it won't even work when using the TWL launcher.
@Apache Thunder If I understand correct you want me to change the name of the R4.dat to ttmenu.dat but if I do that the card doesnt load even on my dsi

You don't have to rename the existing file. Make a copy of file and name it that. You can keep both on there at the same time.

Maybe but you'd have to patch that out of the kernel.dat you're currently using. I wouldn't know how to do that.
Don't use the original firmware. Use WoodR4 if there's a version of that compatible with your card.
By doing this I discovered that the dumped file weighs 0 mb.
So basically, my 3ds reads the r4 just fine but it doesn't read the r4's sd slot, so it's like it's dumping an empty r4.
I guess there must be some problem in my r4's sd slot, I'll try and clean it tomorrow or something like that
Thanks man It worked with the r4i gold.One last question.Is there anyway to load the roms from the 3d sd card and not from the r4 sd card?The r4 sd card is too smallUse DSTT Launcher then keep using firmware that goes to your R4i (the files that are on the SD of your R4i), but make sure it uses ttmenu.dat as the kernel file name since that launcher forces the card you boot with it to use that file name. If your cart doesn't boot using that. Then try the R4i Gold Launcher. that one uses a different kernel file patch though and I forgot what it was. What ever the R4i Gold used I guess. You'll have to look up what that card used as the file name for the kernel dat file

We need to wait for more wood3ds compatibility (planned for your cart)
Or wait for ds rom loading with no flashcart.

Huh... You misunderstood. Dumping an empty R4 won't give you a 0MB file. What is read when dumping isn't the SD card but the cart itself afaik. The R4 isn't a micro SD adapter. The R4 has its own firmware.

What you want to dump (and what is frequently requested to be dumped) is not the SD card, it's the R4 itself. Afaik, it's been requested multiple times to make launchers for carts.
