I appreciate your help but it looks exactly like I said blue and it says sd 32gb memory card there's nothing more to it than that what is picture going to do?

I probably should just buy a brand sd card but i'm afraid I'll still have the same problems.

I have an idea I have a 2 gb toshiba I'm going to transfer all the files over to it and see if it gives me the same error.

Just buy a sandisk, as those are most likely going to work, and they're not that expensive.

Hi, there. In Plailect's guide, part 4 (2.1.0 downgrade) section 1 (prep work) states in step 7:

"Make sure your WiFi is on (it has not been disabled from the SysNAND home menu settings), you can only toggle it by pulling the battery which resets it to be on"

I'm a bit confused on what it is really asking. I have set-up a connection on sysnand (and rednand) to be able to use the internet, and the wireless slider on the side of the console is set to on. Is that what is being asked, or is there something more? The parts about it being disabled from sysnand and pulling the battery are completely alien to me. Is it simply asking that an internet connection be set-up on sysnand, since it had to be done on rednand to update to the latest firmware? Thanks for your time.

As long as your internet still works you're good.

It means that if you're really stupid to turn the wifi toggle off, and then do the process, you can turn it on by pulling the battery.

Still get same red screen using a toshiba sd card when trying to load decrypt9 through hbc. Is there any other steps to putting decrypt9 on hbc than decryptwip folder?

Nevermind I just reinstalled it on the generic card and it's working.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Crap new problem tons of errors when trying to use decrypt9 on .3ds game that I want to convert to xorpad

slot0x18keyx not set up
Secure3 crypto will fail
slot0x1Bkeyx not set up
Secure4 crypto will fail
opening seeddb.bin
could not open seeddb.bin
9.x seed crypto will fail
opening nochinfo.bin
could not open nochinfo.bin
NcCH padgen: failed

Believe it or not that was the guide I was following and maybe I'm just not very smart but I don't feel they describe what to do in a way that makes sense or maybe something else is wrong. I have 3 .3ds games that I put in the roms folder like it said then I hit create ncchinfo.bin file and I choose the folder but it says "no items match your search" but it still seems to make a ncchinfo.bin that's 1kb I have no idea if it's right or not. But I still get the same errors in decrypt9.

Have you tried reusing rxTools?

I would recommend updating to A9LH as it makes it much simpler, but you can also

"use the "pathchanger" program, provided for Windows, Linux and Mac OS.
  • On Windows just drag the Luma3DS .bin on top of the program, and write the path.
  • On other operating systems you need to use the tool from a terminal (type ./pathchanger, followed by a space and drag the .bin on top of the terminal)"
