Here's the deal with TCPGecko. It was originally made by chadderz from Gecko.NET which it uses a modified client for and a codehandler it installs in memory.
pyGecko was my implementation of that .NET client for python so I could run scripts and interface with the codehandler without having to compile every time.

The whole thing is just interfacing with the codehandler running on a little server in memory and each project's at a varying degree of finished-ness so I was thinking it was time to make a brand new one that has some more and better commands compared to the original. I was thinking we could add in a thing using dimok's DBAT to supposedly write code without needing a mapping, and also add a syscall function for easy debug, dunno what else would be useful

Indeed. We need a full cheat code handler (e.g. like CosmoCortney did it in pure assembly) with multiple connection support, compressed bytes sending and receiving (for faster transmissions) and like you said, good syscall support. TCP Gecko.NET either needs to be fixed severely or abandonned in favor of another tool like JGecko U. I'm biased but it's probably the most promising client right now

The real question is not what's the least annoying way of getting Wii U roms. I should figure that out at some point. The real question is why are people putting up with this? Why is no one just uploading them to you know where, where there are no problems like this? We don't need to be breaking things down into rar parts anymore. That was useful back in the day to ease the problem of corruption, and to ease the original scene releases on UseNet. We have torrent now for well over a decade. It takes care of any corruption and partial downloads for you. One compressed file is good enough. If there's a lot of seeders, it will max out your internet connection if you let it. You can stop and start it as often as you like. There's no good reason for this nonsense. We should not be letting immoral middlemen make profit.
so with the splatoon colorizer then which seems to connect to pygecko, would i have to edit my index.html? Does the hbl automatically search for tcp gecko?
I don't have no games. I have all the digital ones I bought. I have the couple disc ones I brought with me. The ones I didn't bring are rarely played. You can only fit so much stuff in your suit cases, and you take on risk of theft when you put something in your suitcase.
You still aren't answering the question. How come I can download Game Of Thrones and the more popular Wii games very easily, but not Wii U games? Why are Wii U games not in the same place as everything else? There is something sinister going on.
And yes, malware spreads through sketchy ad services. The kinds of ads that make it through ad blockers. Guess what kinds of sites use the more sketchy ad services? Pirate and porn sites. Just today, with my ad blocker on, I got three fake virus alerts, which legitimate ad servers do not use. Who know how bad it would have been with the ad blocker off.

the colorizer is technically another client but it's a specialized app when JGeckoU is all-purpose, tcpgecko right now is just an installer for the codehandler as a payload like the kernel exploit, run from the browser
I said it before, I believe it's an inside job to make up for lost sales ...
And the multiple compressed files, instead of just one, generates more ad revenue. I feel that this topic is best for another thread though.

The Wonderful 101 can also be fixed with the data file repack and deleting language folders out of stream folder.
