too bad this doesn't work with japanese games (pripara and both taiko games) because the folder names become corruped and inaccessible in windows :(

That would be brilliant!

I don't know anything about developing for the 3ds, but how would you check if anything has changed automatically?
Even if it involves having a button to manually refresh the listing, it's still better than lengthy load times by a long shot.
I won't lie, my only peeve with the save manager right now is that initial loading is pretty slow.

I've tried to back up my cart save from SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked (EU), and it freezes each time at Save 2.

I still have to add an option to rebuild and give out a test build sometime this week, but after the initial loading and building of the data file, it's pretty much an instant start now.
Can you set the exdata and saves folder to go to one folder only instead of two folders in the root. Thanks for this app!

Sd/tool/exdata
Sd/tool/saves

I've actually done that, but I haven't updated yet. It now stores everything in a folder named jksv in your sd's root. I've also added title sorting, homebrew filtering, date at naming, and made Pokemon Y + OR point to the correct ExtData. I've gotta rip the renaming code out of my old one too. After that build is out, I'd like to get the japanese encoding thing fixed.

Yeeeah, same here... What is the issue with that, exactly? Is it that the application just can't work with japanese titles or something? Also, has anyone tried to open the corrupted folders in linux or something? I had to migrate a taiko save between two systems and ended up using that other save data tool...

I can confirm that next update IS awesome. The title sorting and the ability to see on the bottom screen the titleid is great so you can differentiate other region games. The ultimate thing would be to have it say (US) (EU) (JP) in the title but I guess that'd require a database of all games and titleids and a whole lot of work for a small thing. ALSO, AUTO INPUTTING CURRENT DATE IS AWESOME!

I guess it would also be nice if it worked with Gateway for those who use Gateway. @JK_ do you know why it doesn't work? It detects the ID and name of the game, then spits "Opening Save Arch... Error: 0xC8A04555"

I don't know if it's possible, but using the WiFi couldn't it load http://3dsdb.com/ and fetch the IDs from there and thus say EUR/USA/JPN?

Probably. I know nothing about programming homebrew on the 3DS, not sure how possible it is to fetch and parse straight from a web page in 3DS - Just noticed that they do provide an XML of it which would probably make parsing it a whole lot easier afaik but I still think it'd be a huge pain for such a small feature.

Edit: I'm an idiot. Just realized the last letter of the product code represents the region. Didn't make sense to me at first because US games has E. So we already do know which game is which region!

Yeah, it's a feature not needed but a handy one nevertheless. But such details are 'quality' details in an app imho.
