i buy a new 3ds xl 9.0.0-20u but gateway not working.
how i can setup gateway Without two save games Zelda: Ocarina of Time and cubic ninja?
beacuse in my country Not easy found original 3ds games.
please help....Is there another way for new 3ds xl 9.0.0-20u setup gateway?

If your 3DS's browser is working, use Broserhax, minipasta and FBI to downgrade MSET.
rxTools guides on the Tutorial Section would help you.

I did not catch.........in this and other sait they say download this files and copy on micro sd card........which?.......micro sd card in red gateway or micro sd card in new 3ds xl?

Hi,

I installed CakesFW and the fbi.cia, then launched cakesfw and started the installed FBI, switched to NAND and tried to downgrade my mset (for usage of Gateway card) and it says: DESCRIPTION_INVALID_TITLE_VERSION
Also says it with another .cia called bigbluemenufix.cia (is also required for gateway)

EDIT: Worked with Devmenu without a problem ...

Is there any specific ninjhax version of FBI? Had a tutorial for rxtools installation point me here, saying ninjhax version of FBI, but I don't see any difference here to the normal version.

It's included in the zip, the ninjhax version is simply .3dsx already included in the zip

Oh Okay thanks. Boy I should really stop trying to understand every step before trying it out on the fly, I believe most things will get clear during the process. My 9.0 n3ds arrives tomorrow and I wanted to read into the matter beforehand.

I can't install Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate using FBI. It's a legit CIA and all other games worked great. Only when i try to install MH4U i get the message:

"Install failed!

Module: MODULE_NN_AM (0x20)
Level: LEVEL_PERMANENT (0x1b)
Summary: SUMMARY_INVALID_ARGUMENT (0x7)

Edit: Worked fine with DevMenu so there must be a problem with FBI or they work just different.

@Ermelber is the above error the same one you've been getting? You said you only tried FBI and BBM right?

Yes, it's the same error I get. I'll try DevMenu then

PS: Tried to install MHX on DevMenu and it gave the same error. I'll try MH4U now

PS2: Tried MH4U. Same as MHX.

I updated rxTools (the rxtools files, not my emuNAND) and the FBI CIA doesn't work anymore. :/

@Steveice10 With am:InitializeTitleDatabase having been found and documented, thoughts on adding an error handler for the error that happens when the title.db/import.db files are missing that calls am:InitializeTitleDatabase and retries before erroring out?

Should be taken care of now with 1.4.16, along with a few minor tweaks.
