Glad be, but when i go to profile i received error and my o3ds reboot... Don't know why or what i do wrong...

Wow that's really nice looking... Otoh what you might do is try the outline option with the text... I'll add an example using the latest genertor (with some tweaks so it runs on Linux since @d0k3's last commits made it incompatible)

On the topic of the annoying top menu options, I guess i found a solution to the overlapping... shorten the names! haha And it doesn't look too bad with Roboto font now.

Actually there's a lot of stuff that ImageMagick can do to text, see, for example here. @dark_samus3 also has something in the works. And the more recent example looks a lot better than the one above. Also, there's still the posibility to do certain stuff manually and let ImageMagick insert it. For example the top line would have been a good candidate for that - I think you already solved that perfectly, though. If you need something like that, just let me know!

Yup, that's what I just wanted to write. The names on top are actually perfectly aligned (left, center, right), which is made sure by ImageMagick. If there is overlapping, the text is too big. Maybe using upper case for the menu entries would work better here, too. Notepad++ TextFX plugin can easily convert everything to upper case for you, if you want a quick way.

Already a step ahead of you. haha Just made some adjustments to my liking. And it looks like this! I think the slight offset of the main menu titles looks good like that personally.
This is with the Roboto-Bold font btw, so it's substituting nicely atm.

those actually look pretty good.... so about the text "glow" thing I've tried to replicate it with the -stroke option when generating text, but it looks horrid

I'm still working on it, I think it'll look better with some transparency so that's next on the list to try

Kinda liking the way it looks atm like the previous images i posted (changes are on github now incase you missed it).

I did make the font size a bit bigger just to see how it looked.... it looks terrible with the highlight at 1 so this is it at 2, I also adjusted the kerning on it a bit... If you like where it is I'll just stop messing with it but it's kinda bugging me lol

Yeah i kinda like where it's at atm, it's not too little but not too much either and still looks clean, the Roboto font is substituting for Eurostile pretty well i think.

If you like I can add an option to change the edge stroke so you can get that "bold" look if you want it's a pretty simple thing to add (just add a -stroke with a size on it) I think I'll add it and you can just punch 0 in if you don't want it

Having two base images (one for main menus, one for submenus) is actually pretty simple. Check my latest commit.
