Havent been keeping up with this lately

was the font changing feature added?

Yeah, you can use the patch.lua feature now to edit main font. Some posts ago i also talked about a prototype to edit font and add new colors for this feature.
If you know a bit of lua you can also check the source code to see how to edit it using this feature.

I'm now having random invalid argument and not enough memory errors. I have to install every theme three or four times to actually get it installed.

Hello, nice work there. Have always been using since CHMM came out. Just recently changed to CHMM2.1

i read through a few pages and i am also having the problems of BGM not looping. perhaps maybe cause i loaded in 10 themes? Will be testing it out later again.
Also, i installed CHMM2 directly over CHMM as i saw the application id is the same in the cia format. So will it affect anything?
Will keep you updated. thanks for all the hard work rinne!

Oh, I updated this to get the "list menu" without even reading the fix ^^
And yet I am more than awesomly surprised.

1st :
it got a black theme without having to put any new code ourself.

2nd :
Out of curiosity I tried installing all my big theme as shuffle.
(Aka Sephiroth 1 & 2 and all my pokemons)
And in my biggest suprised it worked like a charm !
I do have 10 theme that shuffle and actually I've not encountered any audio error.

By the way I use an Old 3DS so that pretty nice to have that kind of feature fully working on old 3ds :)

So, can we use this new CHMM2 build now? Is it stable? Been waiting to make the jump from the original CHMM to what you are all using with CHMM2, on my NEW 3DS XL.

Can I use a custom theme with Homemenuhax?

If you want to use custom theme with themehax, you have to manually build themehax_payload with theme file.

To change theme, you have to build it again.

Set up environment (mingw, devkitarm, python 3.x .. etc) and build it from source :

https://github.com/yellows8/3ds_homemenuhax

make LOADSDPAYLOAD=1 USE_PADCHECK=0x200 ENABLE_LOADROPBIN=1 ENABLE_HBLAUNCHER=1 LOADSDCFG_PADCHECK=1 MENUROP_PATH=menurop_prebuilt THEMEDATA_PATH="decompressed regular theme body_LZ filepath"

This will take a LOT of TIME.

You have to decompress body_LZ.bin before building. (It is compressed with LZ11)

Now I wonder If I could compile 3 or 4 times themeHax with different themes and then, make them shuffle with CHMM2

Just a quick note: I updated my Custom Theme Auto Preview Generator (CTAPG in short) to also generate the info.smdh file required by CHMM v2.x. CTAPG, for those who don't know, batch generates theme previews for themes that have none. It's as simple as double clicking a simple file and will generate previews for hundreds of themes at once. No manual work required.

@Rinnegatamante : maybe you want to add a link to this in post #1? I think this could be useful to many of your users.

I have a question about CHMM2. When i use my personal themes on my 3DS with latest emuNAND on gateway, all of my themes are working. But if i use CHMM2 on my other 3DS with latest official firmware and youtubeHAX, the 3DS frozen when i apply one of my personal themes. any ideas?

Probably you're using too much bigger files.
Preview is not intended to open files bigger then the real BCSTM (BCSTM files are like 3 MBs talking about RAM, OGG ones can be not bigger then something like 10-15 MB in RAM).

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
