Since I'm on N3DS, can you even try and send me a build for a try?It could be easily added but don't know about performances.
And tell you if it's slow or not.
And yeah, something for disable the BGM preview can be useful.

Havent been keeping up with this lately
was the font changing feature added?
I'm now having random invalid argument and not enough memory errors. I have to install every theme three or four times to actually get it installed.
I'll try, but they seem to appear randomly. Can you report all the invalid argument you get and when they appear?
Can I use a custom theme with Homemenuhax?
Wow.. I successfully compiled from the latest source, and custom theme is working!!
You have to decompress body_LZ.bin before building.
Can I use a custom theme with Homemenuhax?
If you want to use custom theme with themehax, you have to manually build themehax_payload with theme file.
To change theme, you have to build it again.
Set up environment (mingw, devkitarm, python 3.x .. etc) and build it from source :
https://github.com/yellows8/3ds_homemenuhax
make LOADSDPAYLOAD=1 USE_PADCHECK=0x200 ENABLE_LOADROPBIN=1 ENABLE_HBLAUNCHER=1 LOADSDCFG_PADCHECK=1 MENUROP_PATH=menurop_prebuilt THEMEDATA_PATH="decompressed regular theme body_LZ filepath"
This will take a LOT of TIME.
You have to decompress body_LZ.bin before building. (It is compressed with LZ11)
You can't, making themes with themehax requires a special header which doesn't allow to add images or change colors (i'm still doing some experiments about colors)Now I wonder If I could compile 3 or 4 times themeHax with different themes and then, make them shuffle with CHMM2
