I'm not sure you can lunch specific titles with r5, the reason I think you can is this image:
-snip-
You could read some of the replies to the tweet featuring that picture.

I would love an SMDH for this! Great work!
Not sure how to make an SMDh but you could use the home menu icon from http://smealum.github.io/3ds/
That sorta works....

For a second, I thought you were claiming to have gotten ROMs running from the Homebrew Launcher (even though it is technically impossible for now on 9.3+). Oh well, this is really neat, but back to the pirate ship for me.

Added new version whith title filter (games, demos, system and all titles). (I will probably add this to my hbl mod, it's pretty convenient for the title selector).

ps: well, all titles is just apps, demos and system, which are the bootable ones, not all kind of titles the 3ds has.

r5 will be able to launch eshop titles (or so I've been told), so I don't know if it's worth to recode this into a list of titles instead of a single one with left-right toogling.

Is it possible to make custom 3DSX + SMDH files that boot up a specific title, ala Wii Menu forwarders, with something like this?

Possible yes, not with current code. There's already a sd title launcher in the homebrew home menu thread (I guess you can't boot demo or system titles though).

Will code it tomorrow, should be easy enough to add that kind of behavior from a configurable file just like the sd title launcher.

With "target selector" feature was possible, isn't it?

EDIT: new version up.

Next version is near, I just need to change a little thing but I need mashers to respond to my pm:

- Autoboot (hold A to boot to title selector)
- Enable/disable autoboot from title selector
- Autoboot is configurable from 3DS
- Smdh of selected autoboot title is copied to SD card

ie: say I want to get an autoboot for pokemon shuffle, I start hb title launcher, select pokemon shuffle and then I press SELECT to set it as autoboot. Then when I go back to HBL, instead of the title launcher app I will have a Pokemon Shuffle entry to boot that title. If I want to configure it to something else or boot another title, just hold A when launching from HBL and I get to title selector screen, where I can disable autoboot, select another title for autoboot or launch a different title mantaining autoboot for next launch.

Basically, put multiple copies of title launcher in your sd to create shortcuts for HBL.

I'm probably not converting this into a list of titles, at least not until we see what region5 does.
With my hblmod (or mashers) I can put in a folder all the title shortcuts I'd need or want to launch, and with the order I want, and listing will only make more entries appear, one would have to scroll trough them anyways, and I'm not implementing custom sorting for that as it would be a nightmare (it would make sense in mashers mod though).

I'm not sure what you mean.

BTW, is there a rule for apps that don't boot?
Which apps?
All games I've tried work. Make sure you are using 0.3b.

Also, I guess anything that is not bootable from normal home menu will or will not boot.
Seems like demo uses are still counted if booted this way, if there are 0 uses left it won't boot.

For example AR Games.
EDIT: Now it boots. Just before, Nintendo Zone opened if I selected AR games. Strange.
EDIT2: Applets don't boot.

Sky3DS Runs perfect aswell, lets you change the game and see what is it right in the interface, is there going to be an edit where if you exit it takes you back to homebrew menu?

r5 will take care of that, for now we can use themehax (press power, then HOME and hold L)

Okay awesome, did they fix it so you can have custom themes from CHMM? Also i have ironhax do i really need it?
You could probably compile it yourself to get your custom theme, but no, unless CHMM is updated so it can install themehax with the installed custom theme, it will not work with themehax, and I don't know if porting the themehax xploit to 3ds would be easy. But it would be cool.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
