Hacking [Release] rxTools - Roxas75 3DS Toolkit [fw 2.0 - 9.2]

Hi There,

I'm trying to run rxtools on a embassador 3ds with 9.0 version.

I put all the files on the root of the SD card, after I launch the Browser and put in the website it tries to load the DAT file but I get an error
"an error has occured, please save the data on any already opened application" and an OK button.

Nothing else, i press ok i'm back on system menu...

Running the Gateway booter works, I already managed to dump my NAND, and format Emunand. But the RXtools I can't start.. any ideas?

Try clearing cookies and history in the browser first

may we know the current bug list? so others might be aware of their existence and maybe some might able to help (not me I don't know how to code ^^;; )

Everytime i load rxtools, it tells me that the installation is failed, but i can boot emunand and install fbi and use cias like normal, is this a bug?, can i update my emunand safely?

Second this. A bug list would be nice instead of just "a bug", it's vague and doesn't tell anyone a damn thing.

It's a bug in my (unreleased) code that I don't where it is, but I know it results in a badly mounted NAND.

Unlinked nands is like have two different 3DS in one console.
Linked nands share the same installation & data folder in the SDcard but they are not in the same version ! So, if you think a little about that, it's normal to have bugs ^^

My advice is to update your sysnand in a closer version of your emunand, 9.2.0-20 for exemple. It will certainly reduce your problems. If you want to keep your nands linked of course.

Man, it is safe to update my sysnand to 9.2? And it is better in terms of stable stuff and anything? When I launch rxTools from the DS Profile would be the same?

Yes it is safe. Yes there are more features for 9.2 SysNand such as theme. And Yes you can use DS Profile (MSET Exploit) to launch rxTools on 9.2 SysNand.

Here is an old guide of how to safely update https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-...om-4-1-8-1-to-9-2-0-20-with-pasta-cfw.389187/. Use it as an outline guide. Replace Pasta CFW with rxTools Devmode. Don't use sysupdater 0.4b. Get the files ready, then check back here before flashing if you are not sure about rxTools Devmode or anything else...

I hope that sometime in the future there would be someone comming up with an easy way to downgrade/update from ninjhax 2.0 in 9.0-9.9 ; hope only shall lead us.

Yeah! But I think a more reasonable dream would be legit CIA installation. Maybe that would make downgrade possible on newer updates
