I'm using an Acekard 2i and I can't get games to save. The save persists if I use the reset function of the emulator, but not if I exit the rom and reselect it or if I restart the program. Autosaving is set to on.

Wendy: Every Witch Way

- A portion of the music is broken
- Game locked up after completing stage 3
+ Graphics display properly
+ Stable frame rate

While not a popular game, it's one of the better GBC titles. Like Shantae, MGS, or Toki Tori, you pretty much forget it's a GBC game while playing it.

Is there a way to switch the game to the bottom screen? I have a nintendo ds macro mod and thought it'd be cool if I could play it on there. Also is it possible to go full screen? and if yes, how? thanks!

Yeah, when you're in the menu hit R to go to the "display" subscreen, and you can set the screen to use, enable fullscreen and such.

i have searched high and low and need help cannot figure this one out... i find deadlinks etc... i want to be able to use gameyob with pokemon yellow and use cheats. where can i download a .cht file that works with gameyob or create a .cht file for use with dstwo.

I looked here but...

first two links are dead and the last link i dont understand or know how to actually save those codes into a file??? ANY help is greatly appreciated!! thanks.

Here's some places where you can start to look:
Gameboy Cheat Files
Gameboy Color Cheat Files
How to Manually Create GameYob Cheat Files

EDIT UPDATE:

OK here is what I did. I found a program called BGB Emulator DL it to my computer and created a .cht file [which needs to be named the same exact name as the game file]. I loaded the .cht file into the sd card that I use with the DSTWO. I did have to reformat the SD I use with DSTWO because the cheat menu on gameyob was greyed out. once card was reformatted it worked great.

Okay, i need some help here. I have scoured this thread (all 90 goddamn pages of it) and can find no help with my issue as everyone else seems to be able to make it work flawlessly. It wont even launch. i drag it into the root folder, launch it and it says "creating save file" Does that fine then it says could not launch. I have tried putting it in its own folder, Straight into root, with the roms, without the roms, updating my flashcard and none of it seems to work. also when i downloaded it there isnt a .ini file or anything other than the .nds file. would appreciate some help on this matter.

R4i ds flashcart on a DSi XL.

EDIT>> Apparently when i copy the Gameyob file into a folder and eject the card the file just disappears. will look into this.
EDIT2>> Got it to stick still doesnt work.

Hi,

Is it the DS or this emulator that is giving me motion blur? I get the same problem on the top and bottom screen, and on a DS Lite and DSi. Super Mario Land is a good test. Just advance so the background starts to scroll and then stop, then repeat; when the background is stationary everything is crisp, but when it's scrolling it blurs. It's quite off-putting as it seems to "flash". Scaling the image (with the filter on) makes the image look worse but I think helps a little with the blurring. I just wonder what is to blame.

albertar you need gbc_bios.bin and stick it in the same directory as your roms.

Thanks

making gameyob cht files is quite easy,i'll upload one of mine to show you how they are made.
simply right click the file, rename and remove the .txt at the end.then open the cht file in the notepad.

Hey, I have some trouble trying to use Custom Borders.

I downloaded the boarders folder from the startpost and got some custom borders in there. So now, in which location I have to set the borders folder to get it going?

I tried it multiple times but I was not able to choose a custom border in GameYob at the menu point "Custom Borders". What I am doing wrong?

Thanks!
