I don't remember sony having this problem...
You are in Finland aren't you? Do you have similar problems? Especially miiverse.

Yeah and I never had a problem. Online play 100% lag-free, I only use Wi-Fi. Miiverse is fast and loads up quick. Here's my speedtest result...

And btw, Sony has had its share of problems. Maybe not widely reported. I remember having difficult times connecting online in LittleBigPlanet 2 on PS3...

I had a lagged match yesterday but that was due to one of the players. After it was over I quit the session and joined a new one, because it I had exited before it being over I'd probably get a "quitter" or punishment as if I was cowering out.

Does online work yet?

Since 21:00 of yesterday or so, that's when I began to Smash Online!

What's your Wi-Fi router? I have an Apple AirPort Extreme 802.11ac, ever since I upgraded to that all my online gaming problems are gone. I used to have a very good ZyXEL unit, but the Extreme is better at processing incoming and outgoing traffic. And I just noticed I have a much higher ping than you, so it may be a Wi-Fi router problem.

I is a pretty normal Asus wifi, nothing particular. I don't know man, I never had problems before even though I used to play BF4 a lot on my pc...that wifi router you have is insanely expensive so I would prefer to just buy the usb lan thingy and be done with it.

I also never had problems before with anything, streaming from Netflix, playing League of Legends online, etc. I never had an issue. And my Wii U worked fine with my old ZyXEL router... Until I wanted to play Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate online and realized there's a problem somewhere. I thought I'd buy the best there is and a friend recommended the AirPort Extreme because it's easy to set up and has 802.11ac (which doesn't matter here because Wii U doesn't support that). After that, I've never had any problem with anything. It quite literally "just works"...

I really don't know if your problem is with that ASUS router, but all I know is that a better Wi-Fi router makes a difference.

So I finally played a few matches, all I can say is this: It is good to be back!
I remember we used to play SSB Brawl nonstop all day with my friends back at my dorm. It was running all day long, ahhh good times! We actually managed to mess up two different copies of the game.

Im so glad that the stage builder has been somewhat confirmed. I know we only have the amazon source page but that has made me feel somewhat better about getting the wii-u version too. Board game mode could be fun too if implemented right. The only thing im hoping for now is a decent single player mode that lives up to how good the subspace was in brawl and ill have everything i need. Bring on december 5th!

Aika Aika Vilage equals mysterious ester eggs(it's like Vinesauce corruptions).Pretty scary.

Eight player mode, enough reason to me for purchasing a Wii-U with a copy of the game and blow the dust off my Gamecube and Wii controllers :grog:

Ive barely been playing my wii u version, the lag is unbearable online and quite frankly, solo play doesn't do it for me :glare: Its nice to own and all, but I still find more entertainment in the 3DS version, its quite surprising to me that I can get better connection to my friends in that version than on the wii u.
