ok this 10 games only for the life of each sky3ds card is damn fail. if it has to do with the ids then why cant you just have one slot and each id is stored on the sd card. when a rom is loaded it loads the id off the sd card and writes it to the id slot. What, are they using write once memory?
as for the saves they can be on the sky3ds. There can be save banks for each type of save. the micro controller chooses the slot and loads the save when the rom is loaded. after a game writes a save, the on board micro-controller should then update the save on the sd card. all of it should happen in a few secs.
the micro-controller should know what a games save/cart drm is so it can make the corrections before the game boots.
If there is no on-board programmable micro-controller then that's just fail. any flash card that complex has to have its own computer. The 3ds has a lot more drm then a ds/gba. so why would you not make the flash card smart? It dont seem hard to add 5 tiny holes in the side for a USB Dongle to reprogram the controller.
My Super Wildcard DX2 is more advanced then this flash cart. Yeah the DX2 is a cart emulator but still its 1994 TECH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it actually runs an embedded version of DOS and has its own cpu.
