Yeah, about the same chance everyone else has who's using a header not from a game they own, don't sweat it.
No one can answer that with a straight face yet. Your best bet is to dump a game you own and just use the header on that. Any game will work.

I wouldn't say that's necessary. If Nintendo wants to ban us, the chance of you getting banned is the same whether you use public header or a header from your own dump.
Why? Normally, headers are unique to each cartridge, and there should only ever be a single instance of a header (across all games) being used to play the online. Public headers may have thousands of instances online across many games, while privately dumped headers will still have more than a single instance being used online. If Nintendo wants to ban us, they will simply ban all the people using headers that have greater than a single instance.
The only exception is if you dump a unique header (from a game you own) for each game you plan to play online, and not to use those dumped headers for more than one game.

-Dump my rom (from a legit cart)?
-Inset a community save or use one from a new game on a rom?
-This is because my save comes up corrupted from being made with a different key.

I am playing Theatrhythm Final Fantasy on gateway and I want to play online. If I patch the rom with a Header of one of my cart, rename it to 3dz, will I be able to continue my save? If not, is there a way to convert my save to continue to play it with the patched 3dz rom?
Does anyone here have played the new Theatrhythm Final Fantasy? Is it worth to lose my save to be able to play online or to download dlc?
im not sure about the game itself but if i were you id make sure the rom is the same region as your console before deciding that as if it isnt... lets say you have a european 3ds and you have a us rom...and an update comes out..you cant get that update but if you have a rom from the same region then you can

Don't worry guys gateway is soon releasing there cheat system...Also they are working on getting online to work so we don't have to edit any headers and stuff Heres the emails i sent/received

Hello again, I know you guys are busy with a lot if things probably right
now, but I was just wondering if you guys are working on any type of online
functionality where it bypasses the unique card header check? Such as when
downloading a rom the header is wiped clean and turned into "FFFFFFFFFFFF" and
when trying to access online you get the following message "this game card Connot be used for online services"

saves can only be used if they are 512 kb or higher example being Legend of
zelda 3ds save file is 128kb in size and can't be used no matter what ...was
just wondering how long do you guys think until your save game system is fixed

Technically yes, once you use gateway rom patcher it will ask to fix the values and adjust the legit header u have for whatever game you wantHello guys, i want to know if ANY 3DS game is valid for dump the header... if i buy Skylanders Giant for play online with others game, it will work?

Change the rom to .3dz and make sure the gateway rom patcher says it has an actual header
I assume it'd work like a normal rom
In regards to the community saves, you will only be able to use them if you either
A) use the offline save (on a. 3dz rom)
B) inject the header included with the online save(on a .3dz game)
you can't use the saves with a personal header file
If you just wanted to start a new game, you cab hold b+y+up(or something like that) at the start of the game to delete the old save
