Creating a SysCheck.
  1. Extract the contents of SysCheckHDE.zip to the apps folder on your SD card (USB is not supported for saving the SysCheck).
  2. Insert your SD card into your Wii and turn it on.
  3. Load the Homebrew Channel.
  4. Launch SysCheck HacksDen Edition and choose to scan all IOS's.
  5. If SysCheck is stuck on one IOS for more than 5 seconds, it's frozen. Make not of the number it froze on and see Troubleshooting.
  6. Once it's done, press HOME to exit.

    Posting your SysCheck.
    1. Turn off your Wii and put your SD card into your computer.
    2. Open up "sd:\syscheck.csv" with WordPad
    3. Press Ctrl+A to select everything. Now press Ctrl+C to copy everything.
    4. Make a new post (in the appropriate thread) and create spoiler tags. Click between the "][" like so:
      SysCheckSpoilersNew.gif
    5. Press Ctrl+V to paste the contents of syscheck.csv between the spoiler tags.
    6. Save your post.

Can you launch bootmii from priiloader out of curiosity?

So honestly at this stage you are doing everything right and the hackmii installer SHOULD run... I'm not sure why it isn't.

I hate not having a direct solution, but there is a workaround. Install a wad of the open homebrew channel from here: https://github.com/FIX94/hbc/releases/download/1.1.4-1/Homebrew.Channel.-.OHBC.wad

Priiloader might not be able to launch it directly from the main menu in the event of brick, but you can still launch it from priiloader based on its title ID in the event of an emergency. Otherwise the open homebrew channel works great if not better than the original.

Also don't forget you can install forwarder channels to boot right into apps like usbloader gx, etc. avoiding the need to use the HBC frequently
i can not load bootmii from priiloader but if i boot the wii as normal it boots to bootmii screen. i will try the workaround you suggest and post back.

The photo channel gets some special processing in the Wii Menu (as do the weather/news ones and some others but this one is more annoying)
3 titleids are involved:

HAAA - Photo channel 1.0 (MP3 version)
HAYA - Photo channel 1.1x (AAC version)
HAZA - Weird beast, is not a channel (the content folder is empty or otherwise without executable stuff) but the data folder contains something which makes HAYA override HAAA

I want to ask, can a hacked Wii play backup disc without any modchip?
Yes I know we can play through USB and SD, That is how I play games right now.
But looking at that lonely disc slot, it begs me to use it.
I can save some HDD or USB space by burning them to a disc, probably will put some kids games on the disc while the games that I personally play on a USB.

I believe you can if in Priiloader setting you force IOS249 for Disc Loading (or something like that). The base for IOS Slot 249 needs to be 57 that's been set to D2X v8-final & maybe v10 works as well.

There was a post about it a little while ago that I'll see if I can find and link for you. Not sure if you have to have one of those compatible drive though. I'm sure someone here knows more then I do, never needed to burn a game and load it into the Wii, so as of yet have not tried it myself. Of course now I want to try it. I'll look for that post and see if I can find it.

@K3Nv2, afaik yeah but I also don't think that it runs on home grade routers like openwrt/dd-wrt does. OPNsense runs on full-on x86 PC hardware
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Sadly openwrt seems to be dying for support unless it's just. Anew name
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Like made by the same devs different architecture
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
idk, I mean it had a new release back in March https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/releases
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Not sure how recent hardware it supports though
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I mean for 1st party routers iirc linksys use to support it
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
ahhhh that I have no idea
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
    pretty cool though if so
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Or from what ive heard ways to set custom imgs for 1st party routers so locked down now days
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
OPNsense VM and specs and specs of system it's running on. https://imgur.com/a/S9wgGUD
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I've turned more features on in OPNsense lately and it's getting kind of high on RAM usage, I see. Probably bump that up to 4GB soon
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I wanna make a 8core router with support for 20gbps doesn't even sound that silly lol
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I only have 1 gig internet but internally I have 10 gig connectivity for everything on my lan lol
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
fiber connection from my desktop PC back to my core network switch
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
2 port HPE SFP+ PCIE NIC in my desktop and all of my servers
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
    silly shit
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
eventually this desktop is going to act as a server too, just for the hell of it. Because this PC is WAY fucking overkill for how little I use it.
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
And once I do that, my desktop OS that I interact with is just going to be a virtual machine and use GPU passthrough to connect everything
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
    Send it to me ffs
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
No because it's my desktop lol
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
The most use this PC is getting right now is 979 Chrome tabs open right now
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
This is my desktop there are many like it but it is mine alone
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Enabled PPPoE on router now no wifi connection lul
