I think Rei chose well. Our known beta participant has basically pulled the equivalent of "I wont say nuthin coppa!" after playfully admtting to being a member of the test group. It would be bad form to ask them questions about it anyway. We did not even know a beta existed; that's how well her group kept confidence.

All in all, a good selection, qed.

No reason, Rei has been posting pretty frequently here, so a way to talk more with the devs isn't really needed.

Well, it could be released as a beta now and more people could provide feedback. Plus it adds a free backuploader which I would count as a new feature

Sorry to single you out, but a few people commented stuff like this-
A beta test requires actual work. It's not the same as 'getting something early', it requires trust and dedication on the parts of the tester and the developer. If that's what you're after, you're misreading what is entailed here.

Same method I guess as this is CFW and nothing to do with exploits...

Check again, it is most definitely tethered via USB cable.

Dang. Was hoping for untethered. I'm assuming the paperclip will only be needed for the first install.

Paperclip can be used to install AutoRCM so you are right to a degree. However, you will still need something to send payloads with.
