@Lacius and @SirNapkin1334 thank you both. I just updated it. It's doing a weird thing where in the system menu the version is still marked as 5.5.1, but the whole system acts as if it was in 5.5.2. But that's ok for me.
It works always but don't remove/move the DS donor/Haxchi title or do a system reset or you will have a brick. You must run the installer to remove it if you ever want to get rid of it.
When wii remote control and game pad can not be used, How can I cancel auto booting?
Thank you for your answer.home button. I think other buttons work, but that's the one mostly used.
afaik you can hit the wiiu sync button when itsays autoboot to stop the autobooting, but without a controller whats the point of turning on the console? also how can a gamepad loose the sync? ...Thank you for your answer.
My game pad and wiiremote are losing synchronization.
Besides, the destination of auto boot is set to VWII HBC.
How can I do it?
You can, it's just a 100% reliable way to avoid setting a game on external storage as launcher (which would then fail to load after you reboot)Why can't you install CBHC while a usb device is plugged in? I accidentally installed it with a flash drive plugged in and it still worked.
Well then I was lucky that it installed successfullyYou can, it's just a 100% reliable way to avoid setting a game on external storage as launcher (which would then fail to load after you reboot)
change cbhc to launh to systen menu that way you get sysmenu cfw on boot, and no need for sd card, just press home button on a controller when you see the autoboot message.Bought a Wii U off ebay and it has no gamepad or SD card. It has cbhc on it as when I turn it on I eventually get a "-3" if there is no SD card and a "-5" if I insert an SD card on it. Any suggestions on how I can access boot menu without a gamepad?
Edit: Nevermind. Got it to get to Homebrew launcher, just needed to put older version of Homebrew launcher on SD card.

Is there any possibility of adding the option to autoboot into any channel/game, such as a Haxchi shortcut or whatever disk is inserted?
Cool, are you able to link the fork?there's a cbhc fork with added options. I'm not sure about any channel though.

top right -> fork [31]
click on the number
you see a list of forks, listed by user name.
left pannel, click on "network" if you want to see a temporal graphic to see which is the most recent release.
each colored node has overlay information with changelog, so you can find what you want easily.
note that newest is not necessarily the most complete or the version you want.
