Homebrew [WIP] PHBankGB - Pokémon Homebrew Bank GB (R/B/Y)

However I've had trouble compiling, if anyone can be so kind as to offer a bit of assistance I'd be happy to test my changes for adding preliminary GEN2 support.
Please feel free to fork off mine and poke around, so far I've added missing entries for GEN2 and have added an injected Crystal to the list of compatible games on one of my branches, but more work needs to be done for it to be fully compatible.

Sprites are also missing so I'm unsure how it will react to that once compiled, however if someone who has better knowledge of this can provide some support I'm sure we can get this off the ground until Gocario returns.

Are you going to include a means to inject .PK1 files into the bank to transfer into the game? Or should I just extract the save file and run it though the PokeHex PC program?

So, i installed the program as directed, I get an error about graphics, font and Data and that the viewer can't be loaded, I used the latest version of this program, what am i doing wrong?

So, here's my expectation of this thing, it'll allow me to transfer pokemon from my Yellow VC into my Crystal VC, but this problem is a pain, is there anyone who can tell me what to do to fix this?

Did you copy all the folders to the root of your SD card?

and pk? do all these folders need to go in the root? I though they had to be in the folder they are extracted into

All of them need to be separate on your SD card

I'm not sure if it has gen 2 support yet

Be real appreciated if it got that support cause i can't afford to buy another 3ds to just transfer pokes from one save file of one game to another, wish there was some way to do this just using homebrew, but I've found nothing, and i can't extract the save file for the specific game cause i can't find the right encrypted folder for crystal

Just use Checkpoint to extract the save files, open two instances of Pkhex and transfer the Mon to one save to the other on and reinject the save

Okay, I downloaded/installed jksv, this, pkhex and it says the main file on the 3ds is unsupported, I don't know what to do with this

I tried to upload the main file that's a .sav in the main folder with the titles in the nintendo 3ds folder, but the program says exactly what is in this screen shot, i don't know what I'm doing wrong

I finally got it to work, I'm such a dumas, I extracted the sav.dat file in the jksv folder, edited and imported it back into the folder

Sorry to dig up a thread that has not been active for several months, but I have a new issue I haven't seen mentioned anywhere.

I am going to attempt a gen1 living Dex. So my first step was to use PHbankGB to export the starters 8 times and then on the 9th restart I put the other 8 starters back in. I waited until after I'd received the Pokédex and caught at least one Pokémon normally, before importing from PHbankGB, in case of any issues caused by importing before you'd normally be able to receive new Pokémon.

However, after importing, some Pokémon are showing as level 0. Withdrawing the affected Pokémon and viewing their stats shows an insanely long health bar that glitches over more than one line, the status shows as burned, and the first move is missing and the second move in the first slot. Healing the Pokémon at the pokecenter appears to fix the health bar but the Pokémon then gains 30 levels but with the same stats it had before and still missing a move.

I am using the beta version from the first post.

Edit: Upon further investigation, simply withdrawing the Pokémon causes the level increase. Each one has been random, ranging from 30 levels to 45 levels.

I have since cleared out the bank file and restarted from scratch to see what happens. I will update this post with my results.

Are you ever gonna make PHBankGB for a gold, silver, and crystal. It was really easy to manage pokemon with Red, Blue, and yellow. It would be nice to see support for Gold, Silver, and Crystal.

Autocomplete the Pokédex when importing Pokémon to a gamesave.

so if I use this to move pokemon it just auto completes my dex? is this an option cuz if not I'll stick to suffering looking for nearby people to trade with
