They don't have it in newer consoles but it was never removed from the original Wii's browser.
Ah. So people who don't already have that version of the browser are screwed then?
From what I recall, Flash was removed at the same time they made the browser free. I just wasn't sure if I remembered correctly.

Also, why not provide the precompiled .swf? Saves people having to pirate Flash Professional.

They kept Flash in since at the time it was like half the web pages you could visit needed it so it wasn't really something they could take out.

As for not having the precompiled swf that was just me cleaning up everything for the source code release and getting rid of all the binaries. I should probably keep that one in since you are right it is just a pain to compile if you don't have Flash Professional.

EDIT: I worded my post weirdly, by newer consoles I meant the Wii U and Switch. All Wiis can download the latest version of the Internet Channel and it does have Flash in it.

Oh, ok. I swear there was something they removed when they made the internet browser free. I might just be remembering wrong though.

The Flash support of the Wii's browser wasn't really that useful to begin with. It was a really outdated version that a lot of things didn't support. It worked with YouTube though (at least for a while until they dropped support for Flash 7), which came in real handy for me during the time I didn't have a working laptop. But I digress.

Not that I can remember. They just made it free. They even gave me my points back for it.

quite funny to hear that flash out of all things was a thing on wii, I legit dont remember that flash was even part of the wii browser. seeing new exploits is always fun, just having alternatives is always nice, great work.

I saw a wii mini in a second hand store the other day, it's annoying there is no way to get them online.

Wow, that's way cool! I was waiting for someone to make an exploit through the Internet Channel.

EDIT: I tried the exploit like 3 times and it didn’t work. The Internet Channel is being loaded from my SD Card. Any ideas?

Wow, nice! Seeing a new Wii exploit in 2017 is mindblowing, especially since the last exploit, Letterbomb, was released 6 years ago. (Hopefully I didn't miss anything newer)
Congrats nonetheless.

Weird, I just tried to move my channel to the sd card and it still worked from there. Maybe your channel is out of date?
Try deleting it and re downloading it from the shopping channel.

Also when it gets stuck can you still move the cursor or is it totally frozen?

Also what system version (including region) are you on?

Yes, it's the latest one.

When it gets stuck I can move the cursor until it falls off the screen.

The latest, 4.3U.

Yes, it's stuck on "Downloading payload".
I would try waiting on that screen for a couple of minutes to see if it changes. It doesn't sound like it finished downloading the payload or else the Wii should have hung when the exploit failed to find it.

We had our grandkids over yesterday and I got a small above ground swimming pool I filled for them to play in. Well today I woke to find 3 ducks swimming around in it. Don't mind really but they are annoyingly loud, quack quack. Gotta drain it today. Guess what were having for dinner, lol.

plus if you're making brownies or lava cakes for people with dairy allergies, you should use oil instead of butter anyway

I make rum cake for 4th July every year, I make it a week prior and then soak it in rum in the fridge all week. I flip the cake each day, and add little more rum, it soaks it up everyday, so good.
