only because they jam it in. i'm not using a SP when i take it out to change carts (usually the only time i take it out of dock or i may use it to check eshop when CBF turning on the tv) and no scratches on mine. just have to be slow and gentle not jam it in like a snes cart! This is a bit off topic, but there are user reports that their switch got scratched by the dock.
Like the 3ds I guess. It won't run without a battery even when plugged in.Ok, but there could still be some sanity check to make sure the battery exists, even if it's not needed
Seriously sounds more like a mix of internet and stupidity. If a Chimp is playing it handheld mode maybe lolAnd the bending switch is a mix of heat and user pulling on them while in handheld mode.
Here's an idea why don't you try it?there are some phones that won't boot if the battery isen't 5% or more (and I haven't tested with my 3ds for that)
but the point is.. has anybody tried conecting a batteryless switch to the dock? and if so.. did it boot?
You mean aside from the obvious? Here's an idea why don't you try it?
I assume you are referring to spoilt brat idiocy syndrome? You mean aside from the obvious?
I think the bending is more of the user's fault and they decided to blame Ninty.
Seriously, my Switch can get really hot but it never bend.
No, I'm almost positive the bending has nothing to do with the battery. If it was the battery, the shell would bulge on one or both sides, and that's not the case.batteries bloat and often, people do not notice it until it's bent.
how is it the user's fault? not to mention that most apps do not allow us to even check the capacity of the battery or how much charge it is capable of holding
anyway like a switch is bent because the user forcefully bent it then yea, its the user fault.
but we are talking about the switch battery bloating, which results in the switch being bent so in this case, it can never be the user's fault.
