Because they don't like anyone else besides them earning money in the gaming industry. They're like mister crabs from spongebob.
That is for making vids and not for streaming
Nah they're has been said more, it's for everybody. Google it or so because i'm 2 lazy to do soHmm, looks like it applies to people registered in Nintendo's Creators Program. So if you're a part of the program, that's when you have issues to streaming Nintendo content on YouTube.

Nintendo said:This means that you cannot broadcast content on YouTube Live from the account you have registered to the Nintendo Creators Program.
well somebody has to start a go fund me page where every gamer all over the world can donate just to fucking sue their assesOkay, I draw the line.
Seriously, what the fuck Nintendo? At this rate, we will receive dog shit and every youtuber/streamer will get banned.
This is probably illegal but welcome to internet, if a big corporation does it then everyone is scared to even try to stop them.
Either you join their shitty program or have a normal life without money.
(1) No, it is meant for everybody. A quick search on YouTube would show you that + why the fuck would they allow people (2) that don't give a percentage of their money to Nintendo but wouldn't allow people that give 30 percent of their earnings ? Do you even get how dumb that sounds ? That doesn't even make sense at all !

- Live streaming on YouTube falls outside the scope of the Nintendo Creators Program. You cannot broadcast content on YouTube Live from the account you have registered to the Nintendo Creators Program. If you plan to broadcast content on YouTube Live, you have a couple of options. First, you can broadcast content on YouTube Live from a channel that is not registered to the Nintendo Creators Program. Or, you can cancel your channel's registration to the Nintendo Creators Program and instead, register your videos containing Nintendo’s IP to the program separately. Videos which had previously been registered through your channel would need to be reregistered individually.
USGamer said:According to the guidelines if you submit individual videos for Nintendo to review while outside the Creator's Program, your share of the ad revenue would only be 60 percent. If you register your whole channel (which you can't do if you decide to live stream Nintendo games) then you can make 70 percent of the ad revenue. So creators will be losing out on 10 percent of the revenue if they decide they need to live stream Nintendo videos and forego joining Nintendo's Creator's Program.
tbh, Nintendo is getting even worse. It's better to stop them.well somebody has to start a go fund me page where every gamer all over the world can donate just to fucking sue their asses
again did you even read what i said.
again did you even read what i said.
The only ones allowed to use Nintendo content were partnered youtubers and channels. If you aren't partnered then you can't use Nintendo content so it makes perfectly sense to adress people who are partnered to Nintendo only now. You weren't even allowed to do it anyway before if you didn't give a cut of your earnings. Again listen to yourself and how stupid it sounds. You are claiming that people who make NINTENDO MONEY can't do this but Nintendo is tellling people who don't earn money for them ''Ey you can use my content but people who make money for us can't''. Do you even get how fucking stupid that sounds ? Jezus christ, how ignorant fanboys truly are. So again let me get that straight. According to you people who make Nintendo money can't stream but i who doesn't earn money for Nintendo can even if Nintendo told me before if i don't join the program that i can't use their content. You're basicly saying that, okay.
Again, you can but you won't earn anything and i stand corrected then and i will do change so on the front page. But to me this all just seems a prelude for things to come. I do see them in the near future banning all streams.Yes, I read what you said. Have you read what I said, though?
Take a look at the guideline. Read it. It says that you can stream if you aren't in the Creators Program. Here, let me show you:
If you aren't partnered with Nintendo, you actually can use their content.
Evidence here:
As much as I don't like ReviewTechUSA, he made a good point about streaming a game and streaming a game with your commentary. When you add commentary, you can give others an idea about what you're streaming, but just uploading a stream of you playing is a different matter.
I'm still leaning on Nintendo doing this with a hidden agenda.
GDQ marathons are livestreamed on Twitch, not YouTube, so it's not affected.Does that will include GDQ? I think that would be a really bad and stupid move. Those events generate a lot of exposure for their games, which one could consider as free publicity, even more so considering Nintendo's new retro consoles
the op is scared that they might shift further to demanding emediet take down of all Nintendo streams on all platforms, I suppose ninty seeing atlus being able to control streams of there games means they can do it to. it seems like a stretch for Nintendo to possibly ban all streaming down the road but it is scarely possible if they wanted to it seemsThis… is weird. I would think that it's okay to livestream from an account that joined the NCP, just with monetization disabled. (…I guess there's no system in place for Nintendo to monetize YouTube livestreams?)
