I am connected to psn and have activated vita right now. I can still use adrenaline as f yesterday night (gmt+3)Does it mean i should not reboot my vita? Though i dont have enso right now
That means that your IDPS is not banned (yet). You'd better exit from psn, install enso, and backup act.dat from tm0:ndprm...

I still have act.dat and tm0:clouddata/mcid (whatever it is) and yes im still online and playing killzone mercenary with cheating russians.
So its not autodeleting (or only in some cases ... strange)
BTW @anyone here has got mcid.dat? (or know wtf is that file)

Not sure about that file but I do have an id.dat file. Might be part of the AccountSwitcher app though since that's where my backups are coming from.

I have heard this still works (not confirmed) but if you still have a 3.60 console that is activated already, backup these files ASAP in order to do a recovery, if a format was done, etc.

vd0_registry/system.dreg
vd0_registry/system.ireg
tm0_npdrm/act.dat

Cheers, just backed mine up.

Word of warning, apparently blocking playstation.net with your router isn't enough to keep sony from deleting the act.dat. Luckily I had a backup already. I'd love to know which domain Sony uses to do this so I can block it. Staying offline with my hacked Vita for now.

Did you just restore it and you were back to being activated?

Thanks for those who mention what files to back up if something goes wrong. Sill waiting on my SD2Vita and need to buy a good 128 or higher microsd

granted I technically probably have it back up because of the transfer to usb for the pstv

Sony is not deleting your act.dat. The only people i have seen this happen to have manually deactivated their system/Done a system format/Edited their Registry file changing the PSN Details and an IDPS would not cause your act.dat file to be erased if you where IDPS Banned you would not be able to log into PSN at all with that system. there is no code that exists in 3.60 that will delete your ACT.dat file except doing a system format or going into the system activation menu and selecting deactivate, if there was code that could just delete your act.dat file it would have been found long ago and Sony would have used it long ago. This change was server side its not possible for a firmware that was made 4/6/2016 to magically have code added to to auto erase a file it if you didn't update, the only other way to have a system deactivated would be for you yourself to go to Sony's website and do an online system deactivation of all your playstation devices, If they deactived your system go to the website and see if its shows up as an active system (Which legally they would not be allowed to do). If Sony was to delete the act.dat files of people below 3.65 thus locking them out of legit purchased games just because they didn't want to update they would be open for a lawsuit for disabling peoples systems. They are legally allowed to disable PSN Access but they are not allowed to intentionally brick or disable its ability to play games they where legally purchased

I have a spare vita that was in the enso beta since the beta was released and i have been Logged into PSN with it ever since, it is activated and I have tested all day yesterday and today when rumors of it auto deleting the act.dat file started, to get it to delete my act.dat by going in to PS store and attempting to download games getting the error code mentioned and playing games on PSN it has not once been deleted.

I just used my other system as guinea pig before after formatting it. It does work, yet if you just backup the act.dat and do a full restore, your console won't be activated, as it will not run adrenaline afterwards.

You need the registry files (that I mentioned earlier) associated with the account activation.

The system from which the act.dat was deleted despite blocking playstation.net (using my router) was deactivated using Sony's website a few months ago, it hadn't been online since. Of course Sony deletes act.dats of systems that have been deactivated, it makes perfect sense. It's just strange that they managed to do so after I installed henkaku on it today despite blocking playstation.net. More precisely, the act.dat was gone after I rebooted; luckily I made a copy using molecular shell right after installing henkaku via henkaku.xyz.

That would make since since it was deactivated via the website I'm not sure what it reaches out to to check deactivation status then it would proceed to remove the act.dat I havent sniffed the traffic in awhile but i think there are some other URLs it checks other the playstation.net. But unless you Deactivated your self via the system or web I highly doubt they are doing it them selves as again the would be removing a systems ability to play legit purchased games and it they happen to remove the act.dat someone who let's say for example bought a 2nd hand vita that at one point used homebrew so Sony had it flagged but they person didn't want to update it for what ever reason they just removed a legit persons ability to play games they have purchased so it could get them in legal trouble. I know for one that i had vita's in the past i had homebrew one then cleared and sold 2nd hand or traded to gamestop and 1 point or another

Do you have a way to sniff the traffic now? It would be very useful to know which domains to block.
