Yes iv'e been doing that. I still have USBloaderGX but iv'e tried going through Nintendont. I see something called "multishrunkISO" or something.

Alright for the lazy people who won't check my topic lol:

https://gyazo.com/bf3c125e89bacc1750350331ca5407b6 this is the error I always see when pressing A. I cannot turn my console off unless I unplug it.

https://gyazo.com/a7acbeb49bef4359278febeb649a8938 this is how my nintendont looks. I only have 1 game right now(melee) I changed it to gameiso

https://gyazo.com/a201db0058c3a9a9be9d3f64ac8df999 changed file setup(and yes I reformated the SD card it's FAT32, I even changed it's name for the hell of it) it's not called emunand or whatever anymore(incase that has any relevance)

https://gyazo.com/47b8b12030c470236bcab40a2f90dc2f game location

https://gyazo.com/dcaf95d6bba60fd8b208d9e73f9d4eec settings in USBloaderGX

So is there anything wrong here? what else could I possibly be doing wrong?

What exact version of USB Loader GX is it and what is the IOS58 message you're getting? It sounds like you have an issue with the AHB_PROT flag in general.

Well when I load up USBloader GX it says something like "running on IOS58, WII disc channels and some channels might not run/show up I forgot the exact wording.)

As for the version i'm not really sure sorry as I wasn't able to figure out how to tell what version it was. (or maybe I just missed something.) but when I tried to update it through the network it said no new updates available if that means anything.

It should show the version number on the boot screen in the lower left corner. It's also in the credits in the settings.

it says this: it says nintendont version is v4.433 and this: https://gyazo.com/195b83b81b97db6a1edc143aec09b420

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I see you have file extensions hidden. Try changing "game.iso" to "game".

Also have you actually run the 3DS app to remove the "emunand" partition? Shouldn't make a difference but you never know.

I don't remember, ill look later when I can remember how to check partitions again but I think I did a full format with it to fat32 and it didn't look split when I checked last.

Did you try renaming game.iso to just game?

holy crap it worked lol. I feel so stupid now.

I should mention though this whole time none of my games would show up but once I changed the name now it shows up. I got a question though when I start GCN games do I have to start them from Nintendont or USB loader GX? and in order to change memorycards/controllers I have to go to nintendont config right?

I should mention I didn't test nintendont again. I just loaded up USBloaderGX and saw that melee was on there working now.

One more questions can I somehow move a game from SD to USB? I only have one external HDD but because it's been optomized for the wii U or whatever I can't move it back onto my PC without reformating so that's why I was wondering if there was a way for me to transfer.

Oh and one more thing, can I use/move these files? https://gyazo.com/7e35f678f758f159451401a1ef6fd6f9 this was the save file and memory card I had for my PC but I was wondering if they could be used as well.

EDIT: Just tried Nintendont. It said no memory card was in slot A though so i'm not sure if nintendont/USBloaderGX have their own memory cards or not.

EDIT 2: I basically just need to know now where nintendont stores memory card files on the SD so I can move my own memory card file from there now.

if you choose main settings they will be aplyed to all games in usbloader gx, no need to enter normal nintendont to change anything, btw nintendont saves are created on the root inside a saves folder.

nintendont has diferent saves multi off will create a single mcemu for each game so if one corrupts you dont loose everything, multi on creates a single mc emu for all the games.

what do you mean main settings? in nintendont or USBloaderGX? and do I have to enable memory card emulation everytime I use it because it seems like it turns it off everytime I exit nintendont? and i'm not sure what you're refering to as "multion" are you refering to the virtual mem card settings in nintendont?

if your gonna use usbloader everytime forget nintendont even exist, usbloader has settings that affect nintendont on the settings itself just search in there for gc settings.

usb loader gx should save the settings, not sure about nintendont. that's the way it's been for me anyway. I haven't messed with cube games too much though, just configured nintendont through usb loader gx.

Nintendont only has global settings. If you're launching the game through USB Loader GX you can change the settings for each individual game by clicking the "Settings" button instead of "Play." That way you can launch specific games with, say, the GC BIOS turned off, different control settings, etc. The settings from GX are sent directly to Nintendont as a launch argument rather than creating a new nincfg.bin file.

Ok. Also I imported my save file but it's not working? I put it in the saves folder on the root but I put my memorycard.raw do I actually need to move the gci files in there to? or do I need to change a path or something.

I made a save on melee and checked the saves folder, I see this: https://gyazo.com/6f60342a3fba49feb18ce4e8cb51d33d "memory card A" is the card with all my save files on it. The other ones I think were made once I created a new save file for melee, so my question is how can I make it use the card with my saves instead?

The saves are entirely managed by Nintendont as they have to be on the same drive as the game disc image. They should be in a /saves/ folder and either named with the games title ID + ".raw" or "ninmem.raw" if you want to use a shared memory card. You can copy the same raw file and name it with multiple title IDs if you want to use it in different games without splitting out all of the games on it.

Ok i'm trying to get this straight, so I do see a file like that(as I showed above in the image.) so you're saying in order for my memory card to work I have to rename my memory card the same I.D? i'm just a little confused. I basically just need it for double dash and melee as I don't wanna have to unlock everything.

Duplicate the the .raw file and name one "GALE.raw" and the other "GM4E.raw" and put both into the save folder.

try adding an "01" after the 4 character ID. GALE01.raw for ex.

Nope. Still using the other one. Is there a way to check what version of the game I have? I read I can do it in a hex editor but that sounds a little complicated...is they're possibly an easier way?

Out of curiosity what region are the saves from and what region are the ISOs from?
