Thanks, decrypt9 worked. Unfortunately, dspatch doesn't work with it, it shows "Unhandled Exception: OutOfMemoryException".

dsi cfw would be great if it were a thing once you use the exploit you could just install srloader on the dsi menu

You can't use nitro hax with this nice slot one is disabled however nitro hax could be edited to work with haxx station so if you have a 3ds with bootstrap you could just send it to your dsi

none of the games I've tried running boot. It just hangs at a white screen. I've had sudohax installed since whenever it was released. and before you ask, yes they are marked as working on the compatibility list.

Make sure your SD card is formatted with 32kb cluster/allocation size.

Try turning debug on. You should see a "Press start..." message before the ROM starts.
If not, keep trying, because bootstrap tends to crash for some reason.
If it finally works, turn debug off.

For some reason use donor rom was on.

That helps when some games don't save.
Make sure you also have Mario Kart DS set as donor ROM.

Depends on what skills you have and what your definition of "easy" is, for me it probably would be easy (although not sure, haven't opened the DSi) but I've done way more advanced stuff in the past.

Yes, blow into the side gaps of the L and R buttons.
That worked for me, when the R button sometimes wouldn't work, unless I pressed it hard enough.
And no, the combo can't be changed.

I used to do that but it messed up my bottom screen on my ds lite. What I would is take off the back and get some canned air and some q-tips with rubbing alchohol and clean the contacts.
