Having a little more luck now, but I can't seem to install Adrenaline. The "easy" installer keeps telling me I don't have Taihenkaku, but wasn't it merged with regular Henkaku months ago? Why would it demand the exploit now?
Taihen was included it lest henkaku update. Try installing henkaku again

Is there anyway to force the henkaku installer to use the latest update of vitashell? I have to keep copying the eboot.bin file from vitashell to molecule every time i boot. :wtf:

Just use the 1.61 vpk and it shouldn't change versions.
Henkaku installs Molecular Shell, it doesn't change anything related to VitaShell.

Maybe try deleting molecule bubble before activating henkaku. Also you can just hold R button when henkaku is installing to force a complete install again, it should fix problem.

That helped a bit! Now I can run the easy installer, but the program where Adrenaline is injected doesn't want to cooperate. It's just recognized as Vanguard II. I tried the old "move it to your computer and then move it back with QCMA" trick, and while the icon changes, Adrenaline doesn't function. It gets to the usage warning, then a black screen, then an error after about twenty seconds. Maybe my firmware file (661.PBP) is corrupt? I'm having similar issues with ARK, which runs... until you try playing games.

I don't know. I'm exhausted, and so is my Dual Shock. I think I'm gonna take a break from it for a while. That way I'm not tempted to punch any holes through any walls.

Just set it up first on your memory card then mount USB and just copy and paste your psemu folder to the USB.

I recently used the adrenaline easy installer with no issue. It should have downloaded the psp firmware before installing it, really automated the process.

It downloaded the firmware, made a bubble to inject into, it did everything. Maybe you don't have the right one? Try this one, is the one i used.

Anybody figure out how to use plugins with mounted ux0? All other aspects of the setup have been easy. Just wish plugins (specifically oclockvita) worked so I could play Pinball Arcade without the lag.

umm Just set it up the way you would normally? Using usb just mounts the device as a memory card. So nothing else is changed. Just edit the config for the plugins, and reload taihen plugin on the main menu. Which is the problem i mentioned before is that vita shell 1.61 has to be injected into molecule manually every time you activate henkaku.

THIS is why i bothered bringing this up in the first place. The features that should be in the vitashell are in molecule and why i bother injecting it every time it gets re installed with 1.43.

Thanks, but I'm pretty sure that's the file I used... and beyond that, I just need a break from this. You can only bang your head against a brick wall for so long before your skull cracks.

here's a question, is it possible that even if a vpk fails to install with an error, that it still uses up some of space on the Flash Card?

edit: nvm just forgot to remove a VPK, i don't need anymore.

Try rebuilding the database before doing the adrenaline easy installer again. Usually it will when is installed but maybe something broke and needs fixing before time.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol

I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
