Can someone reming me how do I check an EncryptedTitleKey of a clean CIA ?
I have some clean CIA (downloaded and dump myself from eshop, like game's updates).
I noticed some EUR EncTitleKeys of some Updates CIA are missing on "that titlekey site", so I want try to add what I can.

Thanks.
Visit the 3DS titlekeys site and it has instructions for dumping and uploading your dectitlekeys file.

Actually, I don't want the EncTitleKey.bin (I know how to) but I want the KEY itself, like 0011223344556677889999887766554433221100.
It only help to dump the bin file, and that's not what I want.
After that, if I can also extract the key from the bin file, it's good also.

Not sure if I explained well.

What do you want it for? After you upload your dectitlekeys file, the owner of the site will encrypt it and then make the games and titlekeys available. You'll be able to read the titlekeys from the table on the site.

Hey guys! I am a total beginner. I have bought a 3DS a few years ago and had a local guy install a Gateway Flashcard for it. It is most likely on a 4.x firmware. However I have lost the cards now. A few days ago I have read about the possibility to install a custom firmware. I have no idea how to do it, but I have to install it for my 3DS to be of any use. Questions:
1. Does it change anything that I have used a flashcard in the past?
2. Can I play old DS games on custom firmware? If yes, which ones support it?
3. Do I need anything other than I own to install the custom firmware?

Thanks!

All you need is an SD card in your 3DS and the ability to the follow instructions off of http://3ds.guide
If you want to play NDS games, you should consider getting a separate flash cart for them. They're not too expensive now, and they'll work perfectly with all games.

So I've tried searching around a bit, but I can't seem to find a clear answer for this...
Using a save manager like JKSM, can I transfer a save back and forth between two different systems as many times as I'd like without any issues?
I have an NNID attached to one while the other doesn't have one, if that affects anything at all.

NNIDs have no affect on save files. I've transferred saves between systems and carts multiple times without issues.

Need some guidance for System Transfer.

I got 3 consoles right now:

A - 2ds on OFW on 11.3 (with my kid NNID)
B - o3DS on CFW (Luma) on 11.2 (with my own NNID)
C - n3DS on CFW (Luma) on 11.2 (no NNID)

I dumped my game carts and saves on B and planned to backup everything on the PC (newly dumped cia and saves)

Maybe I don't need to transfer those NNID (do I?)

-> If I do, I would transfer my NNID of my old 3ds (B) to my new 3ds (C). I think it will require System update to 11.3 for doing so. After that, I would transfer A to B.
-> If I don't, how can I unlink those NNID from the console, is the format the only solution ? If it is, what will I loose by doing so ?

Am I missing something? I don't really understand the "ticket" thing, I think I need to dump them from my console B but I'm not too sure why and how.

Also, I would like to know if anybody did a system transfer on CFW with 11.3 installed.

Thanks a plenty, that's my last step and I don't want to loose something and/or brick a console.

I am totally new to this. I am getting a 3DS XL. I'd like to play online, but I really want to play NES/SNES games running an emulator. Which is better to use a CFW or the Supercard? I travel a lot with the military, I'd prefer to play on installed ROMs. That said, I've got Zelda MM and T-FH and Starfox in carts.

I've read a number of threads, but they seem to be from the heyday of the 3DS around 2013/2014. I know the Supercard Plus is from mid-2015, but I don't see much of it in the Wikis and "read me" threads. Can anyone give me recommendations?

On a new 3DS you can play everything through VC installed to the home menu, on old 3DS you'd need emulators for SNES. No need for a flashcart (except for DS).

QC,
Is VC a virtual console? Can I use my own ROMs? Is it only SNES or can I play NES games, really wanting to play River City Ransom.

So you recommend the newest Supercard with Luma3DS?

Thanks for the reply.

Yes VC means Virtual Console. It's much easier to download VC games already injected but it's possible to inject your own if you really want to. On old 3DS you can't play VC SNES games but you can play all others. For SNES in old 3DS you need a homebrew emulator.

The DSTwo works fine but the extra features which make it cost more aren't really necessary. You'd be better off with a cheaper card, since you'd probably only be using it for DS games. An exception would be if you wanted to use it on a DS or DSi as well.

My 2 N3DS XLs are A9LH. Is there any reason to keep my Cubic Ninja and OoT carts? CN still seems popular on eBay, there must be something it is useful for but my needs are relatively simple.

You probably don't need them anymore, because you can launch homebrew launcher from homebrew launcher loader and SoundHax.

From what I understand, your saves and stuff aren't linked to your NNID. If you use PKSM to backup your saves, you can then insert them into any 3DS regardless of the NNID on it. As a matter of fact, with PKSM, I've been able to move my Zelda save from a retail cart, to a legit eShop version on o3DS, moved to my n3DS on Luma, then now transferred to my Sky3DS+ card with you can then basically pop into any 3DS.

As for changing the NNID, I once removed mines for my n3DS using this method.
http://chaosgamez.com/threads/how-to-reset-nnid-in-emunand-without-formatting.2412/
Only thing is that I it did remove it, but I haven't tried logging into another device since then, so don't know what happens from here. My only concern was taking my NNID off the device without formatting, and it achieved that. The reason I say this is that I'm not sure if logging into another device would tell me that my NNID is still linked to the first device (even though I removed it via decrypt9).

Hope this helps in some way.

Why are you using emuNAND? Are you using Gateway setup? If so, transition into A9LH and you can stop using Gateway and emuNAND. Then, problems like these will be nothing but a memory of the past. https://3ds.guide/get-started
