Can you do that on any consoleIt bypasses setup and starts the loaded cart.
On any system formatted console, as it's specifically for bypassing Setup [think in terms of floor models so staff can load games without setting up usernames/accounts] - it won't skip homemenu for example on consoles already setupCan you do that on any console
Demo games automatically bypass home menu and setup without a key combo (using a key combo isn't practical for retail anyway), so I don't think that's the reason the bypass key combo is included. I assume Nintendo considered some people might have a broken slider and accounted for that with the key combo bypass. Don't think they anticipated the downgrade bricks of course. They probably would have left it out if they hadOn any system formatted console, as it's specifically for bypassing Setup [think in terms of floor models so staff can load games without setting up usernames/accounts] - it won't skip homemenu for example on consoles already setup
I saw the A+B+X+Y+R thing on TCRF, and figured that's what this would use. Has anyone checked yet to see if that can boot out-of-region games? Wouldn't be very useful, as it wouldn't work unless you format the system first (which, on a system where this would be useful, would give no way around the data loss) however it would be interesting to see. I'd try it myself, but I don't have any out-of-region cartridges.

btw - if you have a 2ds with firm 9.2 and downgraded 4.x mset, unfortunately this wont work due to the srv: pm exploit being fixed on 7.0. Thanks a lot, gateway, for not porting mset to 6.x.
Can someone help me please? I have an EU version.
Attached. For example, If i have a "AQEEX10191" Zelda cartridge, someone would need to build a powersave for that specific card, so i can put it on my cartridge through the powersaves device? Sorry for the questions, never done this.
Thanks! I will give it a try!Attached.
No idea if this will work as I don't have an actual EU zelda. Used gateway + sky3ds + MakePowersave.py to generate it.
https://github.com/yellows8/oot3dhax/blob/master/README.md#installationThanks! I will give it a try!
But can you give the steps on how to do it though? Never done this kind of thing before too....Sorry.
I have to install oot3dhax first then right?https://github.com/yellows8/oot3dhax/blob/master/README.md#installation
Keep in mind you can also install 2DSaver with a second 3ds using the files in the OP. You will need to use a 3ds save manager for that.
Then you need powersaves3ds dongle, or Cubic Ninja, or sky3ds.I have to install oot3dhax first then right?
I don't have a second 3DS though..
Then put it on the root of my sd card? Then you need powersaves3ds dongle, or Cubic Ninja, or sky3ds.
You can only inject the 2DSaver save if you have one of these:Then put it on the root of my sd card?
I don't know how to do it... Sorry
Yes I have Powersaves. You can only inject the 2DSaver save if you have one of these:
- Cubic Ninja
- A Powersaves 3DS device
- A hacked 3DS
- A Sky3DS flashcard
Do you have any of these?
Yes I have Powersaves.
What to do exactly then? I'm confused. :x
I did as you said but it said the "operation of restoration has failed"Ok, grab the .bin file for your region (in your case, it would be the one that Zoogie sent, but you need to change the .sav extension to .bin)
Put it in your Powersaves 3DS folder (in your computer).
Then put your OOT3D cart in the Powersaves, and make a backup of the current save you have (name doesn't matter, just make a backup).
Go to your Powersaves 3DS folder and copy the NAME of the backup you just made. Not the save itself, just the name of it. After that, delete the save.
Paste the name of the (just deleted) backup to your 2DSaver save. Close the Powersaves 3DS program and open it again. The backup save should be replaced with the 2DSaver save.
You can now restore the 2DSaver save to your cart.
