Hey @Crayon2000 any update on if you're going to make a homebrew app for the reciever? Love your program just a bit annoying we have to use the rubber band trick, which restricts 2 buttons.

I've been trying to get this to work, but I get the error code 112-1028. I have them on the same wifi, tried to clear cache, tried other ports, nothing. I don't know what to do now. @Crayon2000

Hey, just wanted to mention that you can use this without leaving the page by hitting the URL bar and then holding down on a letter like a or e so it brings up the different versions of that letter. Doing this lets you hit any button (Except for Home, TV, or Power of course) and still use the input feature.

Help Wanted to Test UsendMii with Homebrew

First you will need to download UsendMii version 0.5.0 beta 1.

Start UsendMii and follow these steps:
  • Select Homebrew for the Client Type.
  • Choose an available port for the UDP server. By default port 4242 is used.
  • Map the GamePad buttons to the wanted keys.
    • Left-click on the button to detect the input (keyboard or mouse).
    • Right-click on the button to show a pop-up menu. The Clear, vXbox, vJoy, Detect and Mouse option could be used to set a key.
  • Click on the Start button.
  • Start UsendMii Client.
    • Download latest version from GitHub.
    • Extract the archive content to the /wiiu/apps/ folder on your SD card.
    • Launch UsendMii Client from the Homebrew Launcher.
    • Change the IP address to the one shown in UsendMii (URL to use in the Wii U Internet Browser).
    • Click on the A button.
All buttons on the Wii U should work; even the HOME button. I did some weird code for the Screen Mapping coordinate, please tell me if it's OK for you.

Any comments are welcome. Remember, this is my first Wii U homebrew ;)

The UsendMii Client homebrew is open source, so any Pull Request are accepted :)

This feature was recently requested by @RayGraphics, I hope it meets you're expectations!

The touch screen should work on the homebrew side. Like I said, I did some weird code for the Screen Mapping coordinate, it needs to be validated by at least another user. To use UsendMii like a tablet I will need to do some changes, it's not currently possible. It's been on my todo list for a while :(

Okay, so I got Brothers: A Tale of two Sons and thought "hey, I could use my wii U gamepad as a symmetrical playstyle for this game". So I followed the instructions to use UsendMii with vXbox. I installed both correctly, but UsendMii won't let me use vXbox for some reason. I've tried both the browser and the homebrew version to no avail.

Have a look at this video:

Steps for vXbox Bus Installation:
IMPORTANT: You must install the latest Xbox 360 drivers first (Windows 7 Only).
  1. Unzip bus package into a temporary folder (scpvbus-x64.zip for a 64-bit target machine, scpvbus-x86.zip for a 32-bit target machine ).
  2. Open a command window (CMD) as an administrator.
  3. CD to the above temporary folder
  4. Enter the following command: devcon.exe install ScpVBus.inf Root\ScpVBus

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
