The ram is certainly good enough and the processor being an i7 should definitely be fine. (Gimme ;- But we'll need to see your graphics card too! These are my laptop specs. What do you think about these for gaming?View attachment 74625
I don't have a graphics card (I think) it is just a laptop that I got.The ram is certainly good enough and the processor being an i7 should definitely be fine. (Gimme ;- But we'll need to see your graphics card too!
Well everyone has a graphics card! It's just that, if you're thinking that you most likely have an Intel graphics card which is integrated. There's a way to check (you can google it) and if so then you will be able to run close to nothing, like me!I don't have a graphics card (I think) it is just a laptop that I got.
My laptop is a Lenovo Ideapad Model Number U310 for reference.Well everyone has a graphics card! Yep what he said. Sorry but you're pretty much out of luck for anything too great. If this link is close it looks like it has an Intel HD 4000, which is equivalent to a GeForce 9600 GS. That can play 360 era games like Darksiders 2 and Modern Warfare 2, but it won't play Skyrim too well I imagine.

That's when you bought it, but it looks like it was manufactured in 2012. Did you buy it new or used? Did you upgrade from 4GB ram or did it come out of box with 8GB? Did it come with windows 7?That model is from Summer 2012, mine is from Winter 2014 or 2015.
The computer was from 2015. It was a laptop that my dad used in which he allowed me to trade from my old one (2013). It came with 4gb of ram but I upgraded it to 8gb of ram. That's when you bought it, but it looks like it was manufactured in 2012. Did you buy it new or used? In Minecraft PC, I could get around 30-45 fps.In terms of Graphics; It's most likely Intel HD 3000+ ..... Meaning gaming is possible, but expect tons of frame drops, or no compatibility. Hence. that laptop seems perfect for Productivity, Videos, Browsing, coding, etc. But, not for any heavy gaming. IE: Overwatch, Doom 4, or any Graphically intensive game. You can most likely get Windows 10 Games working, like Minecraft Windows 10 Edition, or Asphalt 8. I have a Wacom Tablet/Laptop, but I only use it to Watch, and code from time to time. My desktop is my main PC.
I have Intel HD 3500. So, I get 60fps. But that's the Optimized version (Windows 10 Edition); the PC version runs on Java. The worst language for games. In Minecraft PC, I could get around 30-45 fps.
Cough I have an Intel HD 3500 Cough .... Try the Windows 10 Edition. It runs excellent for low end hardware. It's far more optimized; and I think it's running on C# or C++.The Java version won't even run on my Intel HD 3000, W10's display driver isn't compatible but this same PC could play the java version on W7 and W8. Now it can only play the optimized version that I refuse to pay for.
Just to let you know, I use win10 anniversary editoln. The Java version won't even run on my Intel HD 3000, W10's display driver isn't compatible but this same PC could play the java version on W7 and W8. Now it can only play the optimized version that I refuse to pay for.
C'est la vie, one can stick to their principles, to their wallet, or to easy-life.Now it can only play the optimized version that I refuse to pay for.
Wait; what are you referring to?C'est la vie, one can stick to their principles, to their wallet, or to easy-life.
I don't think choosing easy-life is something to be proud of, but sure just paying is easier.
