Hacking Want to install Adrenaline but NO PSN? No Problem...... Sort of

i did all the steps however cant enable unsafe homebrew on molecular shell, when presing start i just get a toolbox with system information. vitashel 1.41 and 0.90 same issue

If you have no "unsafe homebrew" option you're likely not using taihen. Make sure when you install taihen you're using beta.henkaku.xyz instead of the regular henkaku.xyz, or if you're using the offline installer make sure you get Switchkaku instead

thought so after googling it. Now i just need the psp content. which i have been unable to transfer form ps3 caue i could see the items on the handheld, only ps vita one son the ps3. and now for pc usb or p3 is asking me to update to connect

Make sure your Vita and your PS3 are using the same PSN account, otherwise you won't be able to transfer content over.

both have the same account, i have able to do it around 3am, no issues with pc nor ps3, now i have to update despite following the guide, running fw3.60 of course. would restore ps vita system erae everything? i can stlll run emulators, ps1 roms, vitashell, molecular, etc..

Doing a complete restore would erase all games and apps on your Vita, yes, but you'd be able to install them again. However, there's no reason to do a complete restore since your PS3 and Vita use the same account.

yeah, last night was so close, just that issue of only being able to open the ps vita folder of games on ps3, and not showing on handheld the psp ones due to a prompting error. of course is on airplane mode. maybe i should reboot system and reinstall taihenkaku? then try to connect again...

Just a note, not all PSP demos can be transferred. You have to find one that will run on the Vita.

yes, i actually downloaded all demos available, after rebooting i was finally able to conenct to ps3 without update message and loco rocco appeared to transfer. played it and made a ave state. reinstalled tai henkaku as it was not able to open. now will continue the proces of save files
Used easy installer and Adrenaline got installed, rebooted and restored database itself, reinstalled tai henkaku. opened adrenaline, all ok now!
final questions, i might find it before finding an answer but...
where do i put the psp isos? (it only runs that ones or also psx to psp dumps or those with vhbl??
how do i install n64 emulator? and where do i put its roms or also only vhbl...?

PSP isos go in ux0/pspemu/ISO. At the moment, it only runs PSP ISOs but PS1 ISOs will be supported in the future.
The N64 emulator would go in the GAME folder as you would on a regular PSP (so the homebrew folder itself goes into game), ROMs can go wherever.

actually the emulator say where can the roms go, but found out bust a move ghosts which runs flawlessly on s7 edge does not open nor shows thumbnail, and bust a move deluxe runs but crashes after first screen. is it known that not all of them run like n64 roms? mario64 no problem.
neither Luminees Dynarox psp did work. And when i get my 64gb vita card delivered, what should i do? can i clone the contents from this 4gb card?

The method in the OP has issues, it doesn't work for everyone. Try the method on page 3, however if you're unactivated that probably won't work either.

If you have a PS3, you can use that to both activate your Vita and transfer a PSP demo over.

If not, there's not much you can do at the moment.

It doesn't work at all, when Sony broke PSN spoofing all activator homebrew stopped working.

The only way to activate a Vita now is using the PS3 memos

While that guide talks about just activating, you'll also be transferring a PSP demo to use with Adrenaline so once done that's all you need to do.

Also, be aware that not all PSP demos you can download on the PS3 work on the Vita, so if it doesn't show up when transferring you have to find another demo.
