Did you put the seed in sd:/fbi/seed/? Did you name it to Pokemon Sun's Title ID.dat? Also try turning off your Wi-Fi.

Yes but use the attached file, not the file linked in the OP. The thread was made for Moon in mind as Sun wasn't out yet.

ive tried other games like 3d land and they work but pokemon sun and moon are the only games that aren't working

Honestly I never saw a valid reason to preload the game. If you have been in the CFW community long enough you'd expect cia's or converted .3ds roms.
I think some folks assumed it was going to be like the demo's method

I'm posting this thread because every two to three posts in the main thread about the leak is about how someone is getting an error when trying to play the leak. This is because they preloaded the game. Wiping the game and the ticket doesn't solve this issue. To circumvent this you can either load the game with FBI, or import this dummy seed with FBI.

For those wanting to play Sun, do not do this. It is confirmed not working. You will only be able to play it if you didn't preload the game.
Sun players can download and import this dummy seed.

Got both sun and moon, downloaded both seeds, put them in /fbi/seed/ annnnndddd "HTTP server returned response code 404" This seems to be a common issue, what version of FBI and release of the game are people having success with?

Edit: Nevermind, i accidentally screwed up the path and used "seeds" instead of "seed"

The CIA I got was from Bily on that ISO site. I was able to do it with FBI v2.4.2

check my last post, figured out why. Also when i said release, i meant which one. Billy has a GW and Decrypted release, not that it matters anymore.
