This stops you from needing a disc, yes.
And the FW img for WUPServer was recommended; the one that's not is redNAND

Aw man this is incredible! Might hold off on doing it for a bit. Still holding out until IOSU can be coldbooted and we can share one USB drive on both the Wii U side and vWii side since I bought a 1TB HD for my Wii and haven't even come close to filling it up yet. But this is going to be freaking rad when I get around to it!

Just a little question here, but vWii can work identically to a normal wii, yes? So things like SNEEK/UNEEK, Nintendont and USBLoader GX will work normally?

(but i assume a separate HDD would be needed , the one we use for Wii U dumps 'the usb method' will not work for the wii backups eh? hmm..)

this makes me wonder how we will be able to load both wii/wii u hax on the same HDD.

will it be possible ? i mean considering the HDD i use with wii u dumps ,the wii u having formatted it to its compatible format.
i remember for the wii it was wbfs, but that was then not needed and i believe you could run backups with a fat32 formatted hdd.

I have a feeling we might need to have multiple partitions in the future, but I could be completely wrong. That just seems like the cleanest way to do it in my opinion.

It went through instantly, didn't have any problems. Did the wupserver connect without any problems?

I compiled IOSUHAX from FIX94' GitHub, put the fw.img on the SD card together with the boot.elf of the HackMii installer and the CFW booter, started the internet browser, went to loadiine.ovh, started the HBL and the CFW Booter. Then I edited my IP in the wupclient.py, opened the command prompt, cd'd into the folder and followed the instruction ("python backup.py" and so on).
