I already read a couple of post said that it's fine to update to 11.1 if I have a9lh+Luma cfw. But, does updating will make some app not working anymore? I often used NTR cfw, chmm, and freeshop.

Ntr is the only thing not working and that's already sort of fixed and can be worked around

Thanks, one other question though. How to backup my 3ds?I never quite understand how to do this and how can I restore from my backup?

Really quick question. I'm still at 11.0, and already got Steelhax installed before the update, do I only need to download that otherapp payload & rename it to steelhax_payload.bin?

Do I need to also run the hax once before updating, after I put the steelhax_payload.bin to the root of my SD card?

I just started "Section II - Installing arm9loaderhax" of the guide and opened the internet browser which i accidently closed. Now the system is stuck on showing me Home menu without actually going to the home menu. Did i jut permanently brick my N3DS or is there something i can do?

Hold the power button till the power goes off, turn it on again then keep going.

Are you sure? I remember step 2 mentioning that turning the system off could brick it.

putting it in sleep mode can brick, rebooting is fine

Hey guys, I recently updated to luma3ds al9h, finally getting rid of my gateway emunand. The issue i'm having is that even though I transferred over my emunand to sysnand, I do not have my (legit) eshop games and when i reinstalled them via eshop, it had no save files. As part of the guide, I had to delete the 3ds folder from my sd card at one point. Would this be why? I thought that eshop saves were in the Nintendo 3ds folder, and that they would work immediately.

I did that and when i turned it on i got a blackscreen, while only the blue light goes on.

I hope someone can help me with this.

I followed Plailect's guide to install arm9loaderhax. Every step was made, the thing is, after I restore my original Nand and pressed start to reboot it doesn't boots the Luma. I deleted the exdatafiles and even tried the test file to make sure I'm running the hack, everything is fine.

It just opens the Luma's settings but it doesn't boot the system.

Help what should i do?
