Homebrew R4 Stage2 TWL Flashcart Launcher(and perhaps other cards soon™)....

I just looked up offline installer for cygwin, and there exist some, so yeah, I guess I could try it. It's just that asking for a not very time consuming patch so that I can install and test it, and, if any error ocures, have a more efficent methode to solve it in the form of internet access, should not hurt all that much. So if nobody wants/can help me, installing the offline version will be the thing I do.

May someone please help me? I'm trying to get my cousins card to work but I can't! It is the R4I sdhc Upgrade (the one that says it's compatible with the DSTT files in OP), but I keep trying and I'm not sure what I need to copy! Ik for sure I need to install the cia in the OP. But do I need DSTT kernel files? If anyone can help me configure it thank you very much!

If it is a DSTT clone, try the DSTT kernel files.

Though I do own a cart by those guys, I can't speak for that specific one. I don't remember them having an upgrade cart, but I may be wrong. I think r4isdhc.com had one, but it might be the other way around.

Is there any way to use YSMenu instead of Wood on the M3 DS Real ? The wood version is so outdated that half of my game crashes in the beginning or in the middle of nowhere . Basically every patched rom crashed (that's like every post 2009 games).

Curious as to how many flashcarts are bootable with this. It's basically a stripped down version of Nitrohax that only launches the card in slot-1 without a cheat engine. No SD init or DLDI and is quick.

Remember that little app on Filetrip by tbe name of "Launch DS Cart"? Well this is basically that only open source because who ever made that originally was a douche and didn't open source it (totally broke GNU by doing that).

My version is a little better anyways. It works on a 3DS/n3DS.

Maybe some problem carts will work with this.

This uses ahezard's new card reset code. You need patched dev launcher to use this just like with the new release of NitroHax. If you fail to have patched dev launcher, the program will give you an obvious error telling you what went wrong.

I just tried the NTR launcher with my r4 sdhc revolution for ds, it doesn't work, the NTR launcher loads, a loading screen shows up (which was a bit confusing because it's literally the same one my flashcart uses), then both screens go white and nothing happens, I tried a normal cart too (Pokémon Diamond) to see if the cia was working and it did go to white for a second too, but it worked afterwards.

I wasn't too surprised it didn't work anyway, my flashcart doesn't work with any of the other launchers, I guess the 3ds just doesn't like it or something.

I'm using luma3ds v6.0.1 dev on an old 3ds with a9lh, I have a new 3ds too but I guess that wouldn't make a difference? I could check if you want me to tho.

Nah, if it didn't work then it is one of those carts that have trouble getting proper rom dumps from. I noticed all the carts taht don't rom dump correctly will give this issues.

If you encounter issues rom dumping it with D9 or wooddumper gives you a rom with corruption in the arm9 region and beyond then this may not be reading them right either.

The app currently has 2 error screens. one for when card is ejected and one for if bit31 wasn't patched. You saw neither of those, so it did see the cart and tried to boot it. But it must have read in corrupted data or the secure area is invalid. A lot of older carts don't have a valid secure area. I wonder if NitroHax/NTR_Launcher's code accounts for carts that dont' use secure area...

Can we make a cheat that will inject a proper secure area into ram? Or make the ds think it already read the secure area?
(It's just an idea and likely not possible, I don't know how the ds loading thing works.)

Hi all, just to be sure i fully got it:
I am an A9LH+Luma3DS user and i have the original R4 Revolution NDS cart (the white one).
Booting the cart directly in Luma it gives an error.
Installing the correct CIA (the WoodR4, since i installed it into the cart to work with new games i had with my DS Lite) does it patch something? TWL or something else?
Uninstalling this CIA via FBI or Nintendo System Settings, does it reverts all the eventual changes made?

I am asking this, because i remember in Plailect guide he talked about patched TWL_FIRM and i would like to avoid to have it patched if in the future i have to follow other guides concerning original TWL_FIRM (and i'll forget i patched it)

I've tried it on my EZ-Flash V once again, now after "Loading..." message there's some kind of boot animation for a second and white screens afterwards.

Hold up, About to create altered stage3 launcher of an Action replay rom. The modified bootstrap will do a cart reset. This allows the Action Replay rom to actually see and boot cards.

No cheat codes though (although it may have codes if you own an Action Replay). It may boot some things my launcher doesn't.
