Ah as i expected, it was strange that i had to re create emunand because i already have one. So ok, I try to update to 9.2.
Another question, I tried to inject fbi.cia on sysnand with rxtools beta 0.2 menu but nothing happened, I didnt follow palits tutorial but the read me text.

Go to Decrypt9/Hourglass9 and inject this from the root of the SD Card~

Holy shyt. You are on the golden firmware to get your OTP.bin, then update to 9.2 and install A9LH.

Follow this guide to get your OTP.bin:
Link: https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/9.2.0-Update-(Browser-OTP)

Then you'll need a 4.x.x or 6.x.x cart game update. (use 3dsdb.com to find one)
Using this part to apply the cart update: https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/9.2.0-Update-(Cart-Update)

Then after that, you want to follow this part to safely get to 9.2.0.
Link: https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/9.2.0-Update-(rxTools-2.5.2)

Then as the first link I showed you says, do the following:
Do Part 5 - arm9loaderhax
  • Copy SafeA9LHInstaller's 3ds folder instead of the arm9 and arm11 bin files
  • Launch SafeA9LHInstaller from Homebrew menu instead of browser
  • Skip steps related to "emergency files"
  • Skip steps related to "RedNAND"
  • Skip Section IV and Section V
  • Update to the latest system version after completing Section VI
And you should be all set.

Edit: If you have any questions with how Part 5 works, especially since you'd be following it differently, don't be afraid to ask.

You'll basically be on CFW SysNAND using Luma3DS as your CFW.

You can't run custom firmware straight from 2.1. What you can do is install arm9loaderhax, which is the best entry point for hacks available at the moment (and probably until the 3DS end of life).

If you're interested (you should since you are on 2.1 with a working browser, which is the perfect setup for this), follow these instructions here to install arm9loaderhax, use CFW and update to the latest system version and have fun with a completely hacked console. :)

I have a gteway card & luma instaled on my 3ds xl. how do I use gateway 4.0b on luma sys 11.o?

You can't use Gateway on Luma, you can however make Luma boot Gateway for you.

• Download the arm9loaderhax.bin file from Gateway's downloads page on their website
• Rename it to <button>_GW.bin (replace <button> with the button you want to hold on boot to start GW, for example, right_GW.bin in order to boot GW when holding right DPAD button on boot)
• Place the <button>_GW.bin file in the /luma/payloads folder
• Make sure you have the Launcher.dat on the SD card root
• Boot your console while holding the button you chose

If that does not work, you'll have to configure and use a boot manager instead.

Have someone done this before?

Is there a way to have a emuNAND along side A9LH 'updated' SysNAND? If so, how do I do it? 9.2 firm ideally~

You create it with EmuNAND9, then Luma or whatever CFW can boot that. If using Luma3DS, hold L to boot EmuNAND/RedNAND.

Since creating an EmuNAND/RedNAND means cloning SysNAND, if your SysNAND is not on 9.2, you'll have to downgrade your EmuNAND/RedNAND after creating it.

Also, don't forget to unlink them by formatting EmuNAND/RedNAND.

Yes. And the file you get from GW's website is official.

Hi guys, sorry if im in the wrong thread but my issue is regarding 3DS themes. I have been using CHMM2 through the homebrew channel (on a A9HL, Luma3DS). I added a few themes and it has been working fine but then it seems that when I try to add some more, I receive an error along the line saying that object cannot be moved.

So is there a limit to the amount of themes I can add onto the themes folder? Do I need to change a setting to allow me to add more themes on the SD card?

Thanks in advance!

Do I need to make a sysNAND back up before formatting it with emuNAND9? If I have A9LH with SysNAND I thought just copying and pasting the files over after would suffice.
