Hacking The status of Gateway and A9LH

well, that sucks. I guess we will play the waiting game like the rest of the Samsung NAND 3DS owners.
it seems Samsung NANDs are more common then Toshiba NANDs for O3DS. all 4 of my O3DS Motherboards have Samsung and my only N3DS has Toshiba.

You could always use the .cia in the meantime to boot GW. Better than nothing.

I could, but I only keep my Gateway around for Mii Plaza cheats among other things and I only play Mii Plaza on my main console, which happens to be the N3DS that has Toshiba NAND and works with GW.

@liomajor has cracked it, nice one. GW and cfw both booting on Samsung NAND.

This was on an already installed arm9 system NAND only console still running 10.7. It's using launcher.dat 3.7.1 and GW autoboots system NAND with X and y pressed with @liomajor new safearm9update payloads and my otp.

Really? Was it the F0760 to F0F64 section? Or one of the F2000 to FFFFF ones?

For thoose who had no problem using the former Stage 1 don't need to update, red screen > pwr off, plz try the updated Stage 1

You've found it. Whatever it was. The new stage 1 works. All that's left are some A & B, start & B, start & A, etc. alternate payloads. Not to rush you or anything, just, whenever you can get around to it. For now, I'm just glad something finally works. Thanks again.

Yes but doing that would interfere with booting things such as d9 on start up as its running GW straight off. I would leave it as it personally.

I only want it that way because I have a couple of young kids that will be using GW mode 100% of the time.

I would still be able to launch it after bringing up homebrew menu through CIA or something though right after it booted?

I Installed the updated stages now and I can boot GW on all my O3DS's (All Samsung NANDs) and my N3DS (Toshiba NAND) works the same as it did on the older Toshiba only stages.

Already using a9lh? Use arm9loaderhax.bin to update!

this way is exactly the same, but i install from a9lh instead of install from homebrew menu?
so the files on the sd card are the same etc? or, when installing from a9lh i don't need my otp on the sd or something?

and, to uninstall this, we would simply reinstall a9lh?

Default = GW launcher.dat
Start = /arm9loaderhax.bin
Select /a9hl/Decrpyt9.bin

Any chance you have a paypal as well? Willing to donate for this custom payload

folder was /a9hl/ ,not /a9lh/
Gateway expects Launcher.dat, GW Launcher.dat rename may cause unexpected problems.
fixed some other spelling errors.

gw is cfw, unlike sky that really runs on 'stock', just saying
