A patch is something that's applied to a game to change an already existing function.

The face-patting function was completely removed in the western release of fates, so there's no "patch" for something which doesn't exist.

I do believe there are people working on a mod though.

and there's no way of getting japanese version of fates , as for piracy .... meh

Or you could just play the jp version with english patch and go online without the risk of being banned for the content restoration

Does the JP version let you still play/visit castles with other regions? also last I checked supports still hadn't been done, I had JP version installed when the fan translation first hit but soon changed over to US since I hated having to run NTR each time for Region Emulation, not a problem now with Luma3DS so tempted to switch back.

Nope, My Castles are region locked sadly. For the missing supports, you could try merging the official ones with the fanslation, It should be possible assuming file structure is the same
