I had the same problem with Sidney, Probably editing the elite 4 team make the game crash.
Oh..
Because I've edited all the elite four without problems. and now no

Make her team like default and see if it loads properly, then.

Oh, did you actually edit the textures of the room itself? That doesn't work properly for the time being, you yourself posted about it in the Ohana3DS thread on ProjectPokemon.

Ok, I have a problem with the overworlds. Now I'm trying to edit a clean overworld file

You can still set the Trainer class to Team Magma using Alpha Sapphire. However, for what I think you're trying to do, you'd have to do that for EVERY Team Aqua Grunt in the game. Then in the text editor change "Team Magma" to "Team [insert name here]"

So i have test swapping and it works fine but now i have decompress and unpack the contest background and edited it then i have pack it back and i swap the wifi background with it and after i build my patch and starts pokemon all works fine but if i test a battle to see my background the game crashes before the background is there i dont know why it crashes can you help me with this?




Unpack the GARC with Pk3DS, you can use GARCTool, but it's not as good as Pk3DS's unpacker.
Unpack the file you want to edit (should have a file extension of .darc .137 or .bin) with Pk3DS.
Edit the textures in Ohana.
Use the container function of Ohana to reinsert the map's model into the .darc/.137/.bin file.
Repack your GARC using Pk3DS/GARCTool.
Then that's all there is to it.

Where can I find the battle models?

I found the overworld models in a/0/2/1. Serena as dec_160.154 and Shauna as dec_003.154.

Edit I found Serena's and Shauna's battle model in a/1/4/0, I think. Haven't tested them out yet.

After a couple of hiatus's, I'm getting pretty close to finishing these now! It's only taken 4 months so far! I get the feeling I won't actually play the game for as long as I've spent playing in the code and files. My current play time is like 5 hours, I've never even seen Rustboro city. xD

I honestly don't get the appeal of those textures, but they're done well anyway.

People go nuts over shiny pokemon because they're different and provide some more choice, and plenty of people like just seeing new designs on pokemon they love. I intend on making a patch so that people can play through the games, and see something different as they're going. Kind of in the same vein as when different versions had completely different in game sprites. And we have just had the same models used for x, y, or and as, I'm sure there will be people out there who'd like to have every encounter be a little different to the same old things we've seen the past 3 years.

I meant the texture changes, obviously.
