Will this allow you to download games that have been taken off of the eshop?
it depends on nintendo's servers whether they are simply 'unlisted', or truly removed.
nintendo has done both. so, it depends per game.
if just unlisted and hidden from view, yes we can download them. if really removed, no.

I have a request
Could you add theme support into this?
I mean, themes for freeshop.
Think I already mentioned elsewhere that I'll probably do this. But won't be for a while, until it's stable and the more essential features are implemented.

@TheCruel Not promoting piracy, but its completely fine to put in title keys if you have any legal concern.
I've had projects/websites taken down for less. It's a hassle. I could get away with it for a while, but I'm pretty sure Nintendo owns all the 3ds related title/encryption keys.

I could make dumping/sharing keys easier. I'm considering it, but atm I'm wanting to play it safer.

I think the current site people use for keys is about as easy as it can get. Huge database, easy community contributions, updated constantly, and I'm pretty sure the dev would be receptive to any requests you may have.

I meant something to quickly dump and upload/share titlekeys on the 3ds. Making that easier would get a lot more game contributions.

maybe the owner of that site can set up a public api that we can access - and then a 3ds homebrew to parse our ticket.db and upload our keys.
the keys wouldn't need to be checked because as long one filters the tickets that have a console id (and not '00000000'), the ticket must legit = the title key will be correct.

i thought about something like that in the past, but the only problem is that someone might be annoying and submit fake data to the site through the api, just to be troublesome...
so i guess the keys should be checked anyway just to make sure no one is playing around.

Well it already has a form to submit keys, and you can additionally POST to /upload with an encTitleKeys.bin

Should be enough. Though would be nice to decentralize the key distribution.

I think he only accepts the decTitleKeys.bin (He encrypts them himself after they've been verified as legit).

Not sure how you'd decentralize distribution though, I suppose you could have mirrors of the site/database, but then you'd need more people willing to take the risk of hosting it. Did you have something specific in mind?

Like crediar said its a common myth that Nintendo can copyright those numbers, so it's 100% safe.

copyrighted or not, the owners of this site (and i imagine some other sites) apparently don't want them on here. as long as keys are posted where no one cares, sure it is better.
You shouldn't allow direct piracy by allowing ticket and key installations through your homebrew app; to avoid any legal issues.
It's your homebrew app, so it's your choice.
if tickets can't be installed, then games can't be installed. you don't want this homebrew to be able to install games for you?
what would you want it to produce?

Thing is, the whole entire point of this app is literally piracy, no matter what you/the creator/etc has to say. If it can illegally download games, it will be used for that first and foremost by the users.

What is piracy when nothing exists anyway,

Where did he explain this? These sort of numbers have been owned before. Even if they weren't, merely taking measures to bypass DRM is a DMCA violation.

I would definitely need more sources on that. I don't exactly trust crediar as a legal expert.

i have seen crediar say stuff like 'numbers can't be copyrighted', then sharing some wiiu keys here :D
but gbatemp doesn't want us to do that, legal or not, so simply put it somewhere else.
