There's no reason for people to support this emulator until it goes open source, we should never ever support closed source emulation.
yeah we should burn all windows PC's too , its the devs work he said he doesnt want to make it open source yet, and tbh seeing as other devs shunned the idea of wiiu emulation i wouldn't want my code/work being consumed by those same devs and packed into their emulators once half the work was already done

here you go mr lazy :P
In short, I believe the project does not profit from being open-sourced. Not at this stage at least. We are trying to take a different approach which will hopefully lead to more speedy development. I'll share more details in the future. At present, getting the emulator ready for the release is the top priority.

Where can I get WUD files? I only found a page which offers .iso-downloads, and as I read, ripping the game isn't possible...
don't ask for website to pirate! don't do this here! I did it and got banned, as it is not allowed! I am telling you so you do not! ;)

I'm pretty sure you can't dump Wii/GC games with a PC, you need a Wii with CleanRip to do so.
A bit offtopic, but you can dump Wii and GCN discs using tools such as like as Rawdump and Friidump and you need a compatible DVD ROM drive (such as like as the GDR drives from LG. But a lot of others do also work)
Besides this you can dump those discs with a USB Gecko. On the GameCube also via the Broadband Adapter. There's also a Disc to SD dumper for the GameCube :)

Errrmmmm...
I don't want to be the downer.
But isn't making an emulator for the newest gen console illegal?

I mean, if it reaches playable speed, Nintendo could for sure take action since having an emulator for their latest console compatible with PCs is something that will surely make a loss in their sales of the console.
It's simply logic, and in some way comparable to piracy.

"Well I have my PC or the option to buy a Wii U...
Oh wait I can run Wii U games on PC now, so no need to buy the console"

See my point?

No. It's only when the piracy takes place on the Wii U itself. Like Loadiine. That's when It's illegal.

I could be wrong. But don't have a massive fucking go at me for it.

true, but it plays super slow with no audio, so wii u is best option to go, as compared with todays wii emulator and wii, I would choose wii In an heartbeat!

because emulation is never perfect, so to emulate wii u in perfect gaming, you need a 10 core cpu!

No. It's what people do with the emulator, not the emulator itself, that's illegal. Unless they include copyrighted code with it, like part of the firmware. As long as the emulator is 100% their own code even if it's made by reverse engineering the Wii U, then the emulator itself is legal.
There are legal ways to use an emulator, for example you could use it for homebrew development or to run backups made of your own game (although the latter isn't possible yet), anyway in the end it's the end user performing the illegal act not the emulator developers.

Wow, this is rather impressive, thought it was going to take years for this! I just got a new laptop (no, not a gaming one) that I've maxed out on performance for Dolphin, so this'll be a new challenge I can't wait to start experimenting with more :D

Wow this is impressive ! I did not expected a Wii U emulator soon ! Thanks for your job.

Has Super Mario Maker been dumped yet ?
And, if, yes does it run on the emulator ?

I know this is a online game but AFAIK the disc contains about 100 offline course that does not need internet connection. Would be great to play this on PC, or be able to dump online levels.

I feel the noobs a comin', they're comin' round the bend.
Ain't seen a sensible forum since, I don't know when.
I'm stuck on GBATemp, and time keeps draggin' on.

I'm sorry, I just had to ;) Anyways, it's always impressive to see POCs like this be so relatively fleshed-out. Just don't expect this to actually be useful to most individuals for years especially if you're rocking some pathetic hardware. As for comments on open-sourcing, it'll probably happen eventually once the code's a little cleaner or the Wii U is at its end of its life cycle.
