I suck at making Wiki entries. So I'm making one for Snes VC right? Well, even though they don't require ini files, I can't get rid of them when I post the HTML code for the Snes ROM, what base it uses, the status, etc. Not sure how to get rid of the "ini" string even though the template has no such entry.

Pokemon snap J works over Sin and punishment with the given ini by nintendo,while the red dot doesnt appear all pictures are recognized fine, changing header to the U version makes it not recognize pictures.

Same roms and same ini over DK, the J version still doesnt recognize pictures, im guessing sins and punishment has some more hardcoded stuff that makes it work so yeah this is the second diference i noticed of sins vs dk64 the first is i cant make perfect dark detect save feature on sins but i can on dk.

What about changing the header to that of Sin and Punishment's?

by sins ini or pokemon snap ini?

or did you use the sin header over pokemon snap?

Number of games without issues: 60
Number of games with issues: 12
Number of games not working: 5

YAAAAS. This is awesome; I never knew how to set that up. @FIX94 and I will have to get our stuff in there.

It's pretty simple, it just takes a lot of time to add entries, let me know if you need help :P

For each of the blocks/tables, I used this template :D

See snes has much higher compat than n64.

See snes has much higher compat than n64.
From what I've seen in the inis, they are patching some roms OTF. Might be worth looking at the memory locations in an emulator with a debugger. See what kind of shit they're patching. Maybe make patches for other game inis.

yeah good luck activating the debuger, Fix94 has tryed to activate the debugger with no sucess so far.

why would i do that? it needs the pokemon snap hardcoded fixes to work, when you change a header those game fixes are coded in and if you uses the fixes for sins and punishment over snap the game will freeze instantly.

I injected Perfect Dark [us-version] with japanese header into dk64 pal. Its running fine but i cant start the campaign because i cannot choose a save file. There is simply none to select. Anyway to fix this?

I tried putting in the
- BackupType = 0 (auto), 1 (SRAM), 2 (Flash) and 3 (EEPROM) and
- BackupSize = 2048, 16K, 4K, 512
but nothing changed.

did you used the perfect dark jp ini?
