It should be but the seller seems sketchy as they claim to be Nintendo. I would buy one from ebay that is clearly stripped from another console and not made in some shady factory in China. Real screens appear to be selling for 40-50 on Ebay but if you're desperate go for it I guess.http://www.amazon.com/Replacement-U...44182886&sr=1-4&keywords=Nintendo+new+3DS+lcd

That appears to be for the regular XL and not the New 3DS XL.
Exactly. No mention of "New" anywhere in that line.

I'm certain they mean N3DS as in Nintendo 3DS since there's no mention of "New" and I'm 90% sure the screens are different between the new and old models due to the face tracking 3D so it can't possibly be for both models.

Yeah I looked into it and after doing a bit of research it is legitimately Nintendo. There's no way in hell Nintendo will sell LCD's for their consoles, at most they sell back plates and coversYeah I looked into it and after doing a bit of research it is legitimately Nintendo. I just want to make sure it's compatible with the new 3DS
Jap region XL is LL. That is regardless of whether it is the "new" model or not.It says LL that's the japanese New 3DS
This is Nintendo's official Amazon page http://www.amazon.com/Nintendo/b/re...30009011&field-lbr_brands_browse-bin=Nintendo if you click the seller and go to their Amazon page this is what it links you to furthermore the part can be found on their amazon official page. There's no way in hell Nintendo will sell LCD's for their consoles, at most they sell back plates and covers
When it says the seller is Nintendo it just means someone is claiming it to be an official Nintendo product. Even the product description has a grammatical error. Sorry for quoting my post, I believe it's a fundamental factor to take into account when buying a New3DS XL top screen and could be useful to the OP, too. Any suggestion?About ^those screens: is it possible to know whether they are IPS ones or TN ones?
If I wanted to replace a TN screen with a IPS one, how could I find and buy it?
Good luck. The "new" 3DS parts are hard to find.Okay then would you suggest I buy from.

You realize he has the LCD connected to an O3DS XL in the pics right? I think he wants one for the "new" 3DS or 2015 model.
