Hacking Mario Kart 7 CIA no Local Multiplayer?

Hi,

I'm trying to run local multiplayer on Mario Kart 7 CIA and i always get "A communication error has occurred" when I try to create a room.

I can however play online...

Is there any trick to this?

You have to use a CIA/ROM that is the same region of your 3DS. For some reason, even when made region free, download play stuff is region locked.

hi, I have a Taiwan 3ds - do you know what region of Mario Kart I would need to use to play local multiplayer? no worries if you don't know.

Use the perfect CIA for EU. You can run it even without emunand/rxtools/reinand

It's a Taiwan 3ds but it's in Chinese. If that means it's an iQue then I guess it is. I got it off gumtree from a guy who was selling it with a gateway card.
