No, if you are booted into emuNAND, it will interact with Streetpass and Spotpass and your sysNAND will not.If my 3DS is open in emuNAND, will my sysNAND pick up Streetpass and Spotpass or is sysNAND essentially 'Off'?
Is it at all possible to run rxTools without using sysNAND to connect to the browser exploit?
Yes, you can use the MSET (DS profile) exploit instead of the browser exploit to launch rxTools.
Yes, you can boot one of the CFWs in sysNAND and use Free Multi Patcher to spoof and gain access to the eShop. I believe it was reported that Ironfall will only boot on 9.5+ though, so I'm not sure if there's any point in downloading it on your sysNAND.Is it possible to get on eshop with 9.2 and ninjhax to get ironfall? If so how can I do that
Your save files for both carts and eShop games will be fine since they were created with the proper save keys. You can boot in Gateway's classic mode to play your games with the latest updates or newer game carts.Hi, I'm still confused about the save files issue... Just got my Gateway, haven't used it yet.
1) If I installed the latest FW emuNAND (whatever the number is right now) and stayed on 9.2 sysNAND (old 3DS), could I still use my retail cartridge Bravely Default saves on whatever-NAND, or they'd appear corrupted? I understand it'd be a problem if I downgraded to sysNAND 4.x, but I'm not sure what happens when I keep the current sysNAND FW. In other words, should I finish the game first, or I'm safe to use Gateway as long as I don't downgrade the sysNAND?
2) The same question, this time for the eShop (actually bought) version of Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies, and Pushmo/Crashmo. Will their save files stay usable?
Thank you!
