I'm a Gateway user . Really need PastaCFW to boot a Cubic Ninja CIA so I can decrypt ROMs, and get in on that sweet, sweet GBA action.

Gateway or not, you still need CN or OoT3D to setup MSET on N3DS

Yeah I know, but once you've done that (I have), Pasta is great for the uses I mentioned above .
I don't have any plans for using Pasta to boot ROMs, other than CN.

Here is a new version of my eshop-Region Patcher. Its tested on new 3DS 9.0E and old 3DS 9.5E(older rxtools versoin, without regionfree), so it should also work on emunand this time.
Now it searches for the nim Adresses too, later I will add a menu to select the patches, that should be applied. Please give feadback, including your 3ds type(old3ds/3DS or new 3DS) firmware Version and if you are using Sys or Emunand.

After some featback and menu implementation I will release the source and create a Thread for it, with the compatibility and usage Informations.

Regionfree will not fully work on cardriges, because there still is the update check atm.

This adds Regionfree to the menu(based on the new rxtools patch) . Also it doesnt use kernel hax, so it is working with firmlaunch and it should work on Emunand with newer firmware versions too, because it searches for the addresses that need to be patched.

I've used the old ygw version to access eshop on N3DS before. So if this works the same way. Then it should allow eshop too.

I asked if it worked with GW when it was first released and was told it didn't work. Tried it for myself and found out the same thing. Was this added in an update or something?

atm im not able to test it, but it worked on o3ds on 9.5 in rxtool emunand, so it should work.

You cant use ygw normaly with firmlaunch, and is always loading a newer firm, also in 9.3 the nim module got updated, so you can't use ygw in emunand.

My tool is based on ygw, but it removed kernelhax to get permisions, and directly allows svcBackdoor in the exheader. Also it has a regionfree patch(based on rxtools regionfree) and searches for the needed addresses, thats why it is working an newer firmware versions.

Ygw tool works perfectly on Pasta sysnand but not on emunand. The new one promises to work on both sysnand and emunand, plus to implement along with firmlaunch.

Oh, I use GW to run stuff from Sysnand on N3DS. I'm very sure it works from Sysnand because i install all my game updates from eshop instead of CIAs. Will have to double check again if its Emunand since i don't use Emunand much.

For the love of everything that's holy, is there a way for this to ever support NEW3DS 9.8 firmware? I really regret updating to this firmware, but sadly, there's no way to downgrade. Sky3DS user btw.

It doesn't even support 9.5 Emunand on the N3DS. So I wouldn't hold my breath on a 9.8 exploit anytime soon. A simple look over every thread made in the 3ds forums here would have your answer.

(For dsiware I had to open any application/game and exit out to make the out of region game show up on the 3ds menu. I think it refreshes it after applying the patches)
(3ds cias pop up on the menu as soon as I use your patch but I had to unwrap the gift of every out of region cia every time) I still prefer doing this more that trying to boot up ntr cfw after running pasta which Fails to boot almost every time in my case.

On gateway emunand 9.5 I get Error 022-2634 after it tries to log in to my NNID.

On gateway mode sysnand 9.0 the eshop spoof works!! Now I don't know if the problem I'm having in gateway emunand it's a NNID problem :/ I'll know when more people test it.

It patches the home menu, to show the icons of out of region games, and it also disables the check for updates befor using the e-shop, or ingame dlc store.

Im not able to test it on my o3DS(9.5 Emunand), because I have registered the nnid i transfered to my new 3DS, so its not possible for me to log in, but maybe i will do a systemformat to test it.
