Gaming I feel terrible, but I am done being a Nintendo fanboy. Wii U returned and everything.

I still have my 3DS XL and Sky, but after the abysmal E3 (AC cash grab board game, Metroid nonsense), lack of any GOOD titles, Nintendo will not get a single penny from me anymore.

Thankfully I found a post on gamefaqs that walked me through returning my Wii U to Wal Mart and buying a PS4 instead.

After playing The Last of us for about 30 minutes, I have to say I think I made the right choice.

So why do I feel so dirty? Ugh.

Anyone else took extreme measures after the way Nintendo has been treating the Wii U lately, or am I the only one?

Also does anyone that own a PS4 have any game suggestions? I have about 20 Wii U games I have to sell on eBay, so I assume I should be able to buy at least 18 PS4 games.

I didn't have any negative reaction to Nintendo's lineup, probably because I won't buy them. I'm too focused on saving up to build a high end gaming PC. In the meantime, I'm more than satisfied with SSB4 and Bayonetta, and I still haven't played Super Mario 3D World and Nintendo Land (32GB bundle), and barely played MK8. The Zelda Wii U and Star Fox titles are the most exciting. Off the Wii U, I was most hoping for a main series pokemon game announcement. None, and since SMD is coming around the time a main series game would come, it makes me think there won't be a release this year.

I could never sell what I own, even if I break even or make a profit, it would feel like I wasted my time in purchasing something in the first place. For Wii U, I worked months to save over $600 for it (buying the SSB bundle, Wii U Pro, Virtual Console Pro, Wii remote with motion plus, other stuff).

While I agree that Nintendo treats the Wii U and Wii U owners like an afterthought (i.e garbage) I don't feel it enough to warrant to drive me to sell the thing off. If I had an Xbox One on the other hand....that I would sell off and get a Wii U or PS4 instead.

I feel the same, in the meantime the competition showed and conveyed a message of "these are the reasons to own our system". While Nintendo showed the same shit.

If you had a Vita, I'd say wait until this fall when XSEED releases Corpse Party Blood Drive, or get Corpse Party Blood Covered Repeated Fear for the 3DS when XSEED localizes it.
In terms of PS4 games, I recommend LittleBigPlanet 3, Grand Theft Auto V, Mortal Kombat X, and Destiny.

I think I will not be so drastic as to return my Wii U and not buy anything more from Nintendo, but I also feel offended and disappointed.
Perhaps I will move towards PS4 gradually. If only trading or "returning" a 2 years old Wii U was just so easy.
I kind of regretted buying my Wii U already, and things just keep adding up.

come on man .. nintendo really was bad at E3 , but who cares? I mean ... everyone was spectating mario maker , the nintendo world championship final made it a bit hype , everyone was happy with Roy, Ryu and Lucas getting on smash (exept haters lol) they cold just keep it for more time and show on E3, but no, they launched it before , with the plus of hackers spoilers ... they could keep a lot of god things that the show on the Direct in secret just to show on E3, but they don't wait "special events" to give " big gifts" (I know it's not a gif, just a way to express :v ) but come on everyone are very over reacting this shit, nintendo don't want to impress on E3, they do impress on they own way ad you know it (unless you are a fanboy :v) so chill it xp this is he opinion I have .. you don't need to love nintendo like a god, but come on this mainstream main of thinking everyone have get me nuts

Brand loyalty is stupid anyway. You buy systems for games you want, who gives a shit about "ethics" or "fan treatment." It's a fucking hobby, not your civil rights.

The Wii U has always gotten trash from day one though so I haven't bought it. I bought a 3DS (which has honestly sat and played absolutely nothing in I feel like a year now, at least since Pokemon X/Y) and I think that'll be it for my Nintendo purchases this year.

But trading a 2 year Wii U is not an issue. I traded my Mario/Luigi model in for full store credit, they even refunded the tax!

It can get a little grindy at times but if you have a squad of friends it's really fun to do raids.

I won't sell my Wii U but that's the collector side of me talking. Instead I'll just be pack it back up in the box and wait to see if the hacking scene will unlock Wii U mode.

Unless Nintendo announces something interesting in future Nintendo Directs, I think it'll just end up sitting in my cupboard for months until that Zelda Wii U game comes out.

I've never returned any system, going back to the Atari 2600. Was Nintendo's E3 underwhelming? Yes, but I still love the Wii U and play it quite regularly. (even more than the Xbox One and PS4). Yeah it sucks that they made Wii U owners feel like red-headed stepchildren, but I'm still enjoying the system. We'll enjoy it even more once the scene blows the system wide open

Don't blame ya, the Wii U is a sack of trash for the most part though there are a few positive aspects but in the long run it doesn't make it worth at all. Unless you'd get it for really cheap, then in that regard, sure why not.

As of now I just get very few Wii U games that seem to be worth getting and developed by Nintendo because anything else is possibly just shit as 3rd party on Wii U is barely any. And the ones that exist, just forget it.

Seriously, there is not much difference between the consoles anymore. Check your exclusives and go for it.
