Oh, wow, these look great! I got tired of staring at Sony's lame excuse for an EBOOT file on my PSP a long while back and went about sprucing them up myself, but I could never get looping .AT3 audio or animated icons to work. Then again, no tutorials I ever could find mentioned anything about leaked Sony software dedicated to those tasks . Looks like I may have to start redoing my whole EBOOT library again ^^

You should be using virtualdubmod to create the .avi file that you are going to send through UMD Stream Composer. Just making the container format .avi isn't going to really do squat for you if the codecs used aren't what UMD Stream Composer wants. If you are going to make your avi file yourself, you don't use XVid, compression, anything, and remove the audio track.

Most of the tutorials I remember seeing talked about UMD Tools for making the animated icons. I actually stumbled upon the at3tool from some random forum that didn't even mention the site it was from. This was after I had gotten one of my manually made at3 files to loop by fiddling with the header, but it's mega convenient having a tool instead.

I'll have to give some of these a shot. As for what I DO have, I've got decent materials for Ace Combat 2 (need a better boot image for that one), FF7, FF8 and FF9, Kingsley's Adventure, Legend of Mana, Legend of Dragoon and Soul Reaver 1. If you want to take a look at any of my backgrounds or stuff I'll be happy to contribute what I've collected.

Whatever floats your boat. If you think it sounds good enough even without looping, then go for it. This thread is literally just like a thread where I'm sticking the shit I like on the first post. Most of it just happens to be from me because everything else everywhere else is dead.

So I decided I'd not be so lame and stop using my phone to record the preview videos. I remade all of the videos with remotejoylite and reuploaded all of them except for Bloody Bride since I'm still thinking that I might change the icon and fix the video.

After looking at it a couple of times, I've come to the conclusion that the Thousand Arms icon isn't good enough. Maybe it's the colors, or maybe I just don't like orange, iunno. But I think I might make a new icon if I find something else to replace it.

I guess it's just because the PSP has lost steam. If people had really gotten into this when the PSP was in its prime, I could see an amazing collection being available. But as it stands, even with Googling about, you just kind of deal with what you can find or go on without a fully customized EBOOT.
