Hardware has anybody purchased a eur new 3ds lately, what firmware is on them?

i really want a smaller new 3ds, i don't know japanese at all so i'm going to go ahead and pay extra for a european one.
i own 30+ US retail games so i'd like to use NTR CFW 2.1 for as long as possible.
also if i region change it not having the keyboard crash would be nice i'm pretty sure a eur console would be more reliable.
how likely is it that a brand new one purchased today would be under 9.2?

I purchased a European new 3ds from amazon.fr in 13 mars 2015. It is a 9.0.0 version.

I bought the Ambassador edition back in Febuary. Came with 9.0.0-20E. However i've heard there are now 9.4 ones being sold. So make sure you check the serial.
