I found the game to be eh. Somehow I found myself enjoying the 3DS version so much more than my Wii U version, maybe because expected more out of it.

I think classic mode is MUCH better on the 3DS mode and im kind of gutted they didnt keep it for the wii-u version but everything else is better imo. Both are good tho!

Why lol? Because I didn't care for the game? I didn't personally enjoy it as much as I was hoping to, does that mean the game is bad and I hated it? No, it means I didn't enjoy it as much as I was hoping to.
The music alone will make it worth Smash Wii U.

I couldn't stand listening to the tunes on Smash 3DS with that dogshit audio quality.
The music was amazing though.

I didn't say anything about quality, only that I found myself enjoying the 3DS a bit more. Maybe because I didn't expect a whole lot with the 3DS's limited hardware, so what I got I enjoyed more or maybe I got my hope way too high for the Wii U and they didn't meet that expectation. Either way I didn't say I hated the game nor even say there's anything wrong with it, I just happen to enjoy one version a bit more than the other.

Personally, I found that the music arrangements by Namco felt too synthesized for a Smash game. The original compositions weren't as bad, but they did kinda re-use the main theme over and over again. The tracks I really enjoyed were the ones by HAL, like the Kirby's Dream Land cover and compositions from Brawl and Melee. The Smash Bros. Direct indicated that most of the new tracks in the Wii U version are arranged by Nintendo, so I'm hoping the quality of the music is stepped up.

Can you play Smash only on the Wii U gamepad if the TV is already in used? (Like MK8 or Zelda WW)

Can you connect to the SSB3DS rom or do I need the 3DS retail game?

1) Yes.
2) If you have the original 3DS game (Digital/Card) you can connect it. Dunno about pirated rom version.

Well chances are if you're using a rom, you're using a Gateway to do it (which currently requires a very low firmware, until the support for later firmwares is released). My guess is the Wii U won't let you sync up your 3ds without having the latest firmware on it.

Of course, I can't test this theory as I don't own a 3ds, but logically it makes sense. Only way to know for sure is to try it.

Also WiiCube_2013 don't assume just because he's using a "rom" that his copy is pirated. He could be using a backup copy for all we know...

Mine has been dispatched in the UK.

Yep me too.

I also got another one from TGC so I'll end up selling the additional copy and keep the rest.

I could care less about IGN, but sometimes their reviews are just retarded.

It should be: I couldn't care less

Why would you buy another and sell it?

Also, crap I always mess that one up, I guess I do care a little for their reviews
