I'm aware of that, the game had issues before so it isn't possible to test any revisions before it was fixed, I think that's a start point to track down the Chao Race if it was working, which revision was that so we can test it?
sonic dx started working on 164 go from there i guess.

As for memcard emulation - I would like to note that I have been using a third party 8mb card for well over a decade without issues, on both the original GC and when used with the wii hardware. I remember having it well before animal crossing came out - I used the memory card that came with AC for some reason and that save could not be transferred so from that point forward I used 2 cards :P

Anyhow, for what it's worth, that 8mb card was used for literally every other game I ever played and I never had a single issue with it. Now I would love to move every game over to an individual memory card, but as I've mentioned before, it can't be done. I had all my original saves in GCI format and using dolphin it was impossible to move them to a "new" virtual card whether that was a new single card, or an individual one for each game. So I had no choice but to do a raw dump of my card and use that as it was - which of course comes out to an 8mb file.

Now with that said, I really haven't had any issues whatsoever. Reading and writing to that virtual memory card is of no issue so far and the only trouble I've had so far is trying to boot BMX XXX, which people seem to be having trouble with even though it is green? And Gun, which is completely red on the compat. list.

As I said, I haven't had any issues so far, but if it is expected that I will if I continue using this save, there has to be a better way of managing virtual cards and saves.

Weird GameTDB + USB Loader GX works fine for me with all games, it shows Virtua Striker 4 2006 with the correct title!
USBLoaderGX use the GameID found in the game path (folder name), if it's not present it's reading the GameID inside the ISO.
You probably are using the correct ID in the path, even if the internal GameID is wrong, or you have the correct and unmodified ISO.

edit:
I saw you answered your own question.

Didn't work the convertion, happened to me twice, first with Cubivore, now with Phantasy Star Online. It reset the system back to Wii U mode
what conversion? you only need to rename

curbivore.gcm rename to game.iso no convertions needed at all, also phantasy star online will always shutdown the console it still doesnt work.

Ok, I have a Cubivore iso, but it's trimmed, I though iso were the full disc dumped, and other formats like gcm were the trimmed ones...

JoostinOnline if it's in your power at all, I think it would be handy to have some kind of memcard management feature, especially between real and emulated, that will allow users to copy saves from both individual and multicard saves to a real memory card and vice versa, thus eliminating the need to complicate things by having to use Dolphin.
I thought GCMM+ did that.

got what settings on? maybe you have forced stuff?

I'm using ULGX, my global settings (I only use individual ones for a few games)

===GameCube Settings===
GameCube Source = Auto
GameCube Mode = Nintendont

--==DM(L) + Nintendont==--
Progresive Patch = Off
Force Widescreen = Off
Debug = Off

--==Nintendont==--
Mem Card emu = On
Mem Card Blocks Size = 1019
Auto Boot = On
USB-HID =Off
GCN Controller = 1
LED activity = Off
OSReport = Off
Log to file = Off

Those are my GCN settings, only have problems with this game, I'm thinking it's just a bad dump =/

you should do a md5 check on the iso then cubivore md5 is this 756327c68651c4f25689bf58dafdca2d

incase you dont know how to make an md5 check just get the MD5_SHA-1 Utility.exe from googling it and open your iso with it and then just copy past the values to see if they are identical.

Hi,

i just tried Ninendont and the first time it worked fine. I then wanted to copy a few more games to the harddrive. I had two partions on the drive. One i wanted to use for wii games and one for ngc games. Because i wasn't quite happy with the sizes of the partitions i reformated an since then i'm not able to use nintendont anymore. I always get the message "No fat device found or usb:/games directory missing". What am I doing wrong? On my first try the wii partition was also formated fat32 even though I want to use wbfs filesystem in the future. I've tried both usb ports, just one fat32 partition with just the games folder on it but it won't work. If I use SD it shows that i have no games in sd/games which is correct. Why isn't usb working?

So that's the one we should test!

Just rename the file "game.ios" not "game.iso.gcm" and gcm is an iso file only named "gcm" it doesn't require any converting and I don't recommend converting the file because it might ruin it, also Phantasy Star Online doesn't work yet, it's one of the few games that still don't work.

I thought GCMM+ did that.
GCMM+???

do not use WBFS partition format anymore, it corrupts games (or don't be afraid about reinstalling games from time to time). just use FAT32 for Wii games too.

formating to FAT32 should have worked, did you format using MBR or GPT?
You need to format to Primary (not logical/extended/GPT), FAT32, 32k/cluster (64k works with nintendont but it's probably a good idea to use 32k if you intend to use this drive with other homebrew too).
