ROM Hack Is there a way to extract .pkmn files from emerald?

Playing this emerald rom and don't really want to let go of my pokemon. Is it possible to get the .pkmn file from this rom and then put it on a newer 4th gen or 5th gen game?

As I know, you can use Desmume to simulate (or emulate) the GBA Slot. Do as following:

1. Start Pokemon 4th Gen Game.
2. If you already can access Pal Park, go to there.
3. In Desmume menu, choose "Emulation" then "GBA Slot".
4. From the new window, choose "GBA Game" and then browse to the game (There must be a sav file with the same name to do this)

Then move pokemon from emerald to 4th gen game. I didn't do it before so I don't know whether it will work perfectly or not.
I think there is a limit of 6 Pokemon a time every 24 hours.
